There were new words this time.

'FLAMES.'

'HOME.'

'STAY.'

'LATER.'

'L.'

The random letter 'L' was still there.

Dream looked around at the room he had entered. George was still laying down on the bed like last time.

Same room, same place, same fire.

As soon as he took his first step, Dream followed the path towards George. He sprinted, carefully holding Patches once again.

"I'm not letting anything happen to you, George!"

Something new caught his eyes. Petals were falling from the ceiling, blending in with the smoke and fire.

Running through the fire hurt him, but he could care less.

It was getting difficult to breathe, which caused him to slow down his pace. Dream kept his head down, looking down at the ground to make sure he didn't trip on anything. But when he looked back up, the bed George was laying on could no longer be seen.

"Bushes?"

Rose bushes were surrounding the bed. Thorns as sharp as a kitchen knife. He had found that out when he tried reaching over.

"Shit."

He looked over the walls of roses, careful not to hurt himself.

George was no longer peacefully laying on the bed. Instead, a red rose took his place. It was the same one he had given George.

It shrunk as the fire took over its petals, ashes flying away.

"Dream."

He spun around, looking for the person who was calling him. No one was there.

Panic rose in his body, eyes flickering to every single corner in the large room. Still, he couldn't see anyone.

"George?"

Shades of red and orange blocked his vision. The flames were getting bigger. The smoke was getting thicker.

"Dream, I need you to wake up for me. Can you do that?"

Carefully squeezing Patches in his arms, Dream took a few steps away from the bushes.

"I-I can't."

"Try! You have to try!"

The heat seemed to raise every second, causing him to worry even more.

"George, where are you?"

"I'm right here. You need to wake up."

"I don't know how!"

Dream observed the change of color on his arm. He was slowly burning. Soon, he was going to end up like the rose.

"Help me! You need to help me, George!"

And just like that, Dream woke up by a cold liquid being poured onto his face.

Coughing, he immediately sat up, rubbing his eyes with the palms of his hands.

The blond took a few seconds to catch his breath. He took his shirt off, patting it on his face to dry himself.

"Dream!"

He stared at the embarrassed brunet with cold eyes.

"What? You literally just poured fucking water on me."

"I was trying to wake you up," George blurted out.

Dream got up from the bed, walking over to his closet to get a new pair of clothes. He can't handle the feeling of wet clothing touching his skin.

"Are you sure you're okay? This is the second time you were saying my name in your sleep."

Sighing, he took his clothes and opened the door. He turned back to look at the brunet who was still looking at him with wide eyes.

Dream smiled at him with his shimmery green eyes, nodding to answer his question.

"Yeah, Georgie. Thanks for waking me up."

With that, he closed the door behind him, making his way to the bathroom.

"Mom! Clay's walking around shirtless again!"

"Shut up!"

——————————

"Drista, why don't you open your presents next?"

The blond bought his mom a new purse from Gucci and his dad a Rolex. They had opened their presents before Drista opened hers.

Dream observed from the couch as his little sister grabbed her first present. He smiled when she opened his present.

"Your merch? Really? You could have gotten me anything, yet you got me your merch."

"Yeah. What's wrong with it?"

She held up the bright green hoodie, obviously not liking what he got her.

"It's ugly."

"There's more."

Her hands flew straight to the box, picking up the two hundred bills.

"Two hundred dollars?! This is way better than the merch."

Everyone laughed, including the shy brunet sitting next to him. Dream smiled at him. The thought of George having a girlfriend bothered him, but he brushed it off.

"We'll give you two some alone time for your own gifts," insisted Dream's mom.

Dream nodded, not turning back to face George until he could no longer see his parents.

"I wanna go first," claimed George.

Now facing George, Dream gave a hum of approval, watching as the Brit took out a yellow wrapped medium-sized box.

"George, it's-"

"I know it's yellow. Sapnap told me when I sent him a picture. I forgot to check when I grabbed it."

Dream chuckled. "Alright, let's open this baby up." He carefully began to tear off the sides, sliding off the wrapping paper once he could.

Opening the box was easier than taking off the wrapping paper. The first thing he noticed was a small pin. Although, It wasn't a regular pin.

"It has your face on it." Dream brought the pin closer to his face. George looked adorable as always.

He reached back down into the box, picking up a blue sweatshirt, which also had George's face on it at the top left.

"Did you really just get me two things with your face on it? Though, I'm not complaining."

The shorter man giggled. "Nope, not just two. There's one more thing. Look in the front pocket."

A strange object crinkled as his hands touched it. Closing his eyes, Dream let out a small wheeze.

"Oh come on, George."

George erupted with laughter, holding on to the soft cat in his arms. Dream pulled out the small item, shaking his head.

"A condom?"

He took out his phone, snapping a picture, and sending it to Sapnap.

"And it also has your face on it."

Both boys have finally calmed down, still letting out a few giggles here and there.

"Okay, It's my turn now, Georgie."
