"You are due on February 28..." The doctor had told her. "It's a boy..." Expecting, is a wonderful time, I think, or anyways I would hope so...
The young woman was working that night tired I'm sure the day is January 27, one month before the baby was born. Her husband off drinking with his friends, having a wonderful time, as always.
Water fell.
The young woman had began. One month ahead of time.
The baby boy was born, what was supposed to be a time of an overcoming joy quickly turned into sorrow. She was not able to hold her child.
The baby being rushed into intensive care. "Your son may die..." her heart broke.
The baby boy had the umbilical core rapped around his neck. He had a lack of oxygen in his body, and was born "blue, like a blue berry."
This was not all. For the baby was also born with a liver problem, then became "yellow" The father in rage over all that had gone wrong that night. The baby came home finally.
