A Different Shade Of Red Caper

"Ginerva Sandiego...or if you like, call her Ginny to save time" Matt grumbled as he walked forward, he didn't look at the two as he explained "She's a thief but describes her job as stealing from the bad guys and giving to the good.." he says.

Kyle followed "Modern day Robin Hood then? Sounds easy!" He exclaimed with confident, he looked around the walls at the HYDRA base a final time before the three departed ot outside and into a car.

The driver adjusted the mirror, she didn't face the agents directly but rather through the mirror "I know your assignment and I have been given orders to take you to the designated location..." she mumbled now giving Matt direct eye contact.

[The driver is actually the same person who spoke to Ginny in my other Marvel story]

Matt stared back at the driver and nods "And should Sandiego get away again?" He asked crossing his arms and raising in eyebrow.

A snicker came before the reply "You know what to do.." she smirked sliding a gun to Matt. Emma sat up, she sighed and glanced out of the window before looking at the driver with a confused look.

"Why does he get weaponry and we don't?" She asked watching as Matt loaded his gun and impatiently waited for an answer.

"Because, child, the Winter Soldier is our best known asset, you are a mere field agent that has not been given the proper training.." The driver glared and continued driving through the deserted city, grass was dying and no flowers were in sight, only the grey road was what felt normal.

[San Diego, Team Red's base]

Ginny laid on the sofa and sighed, her laptop bleeped and Fern's icon appeared on the screen, they lowered their visor in time and smiled "You feeling okay, Red?" They asked worriedly.

"I'm feeling a lot better,thanks for worrying about me.." Ginny stretches as she sits up "So, any capers for me?" She asks curiously.

Fern scratches the back of their neck "Red, Zanesan and I decided it's too early to send you back out on capers so we contacted Carmen to help out until we know you're...you know? One hundred back to normal" they admit as the screen split into two and Carmen appeared on the other half.

Carmen smiled "Nice to see you're feeling somewhat better, I was told what happened so I decided to ask your Player if I could help out.." she says chuckling gently and raising her phone a bit as she walked through the streets of Buenos Aires Argentina, also known as her birth place.

Fern chuckles nervously "And I agreed, but of that meant getting into contact with Bouchard" they say crossing their arms with a smile.

The screen then splits in three as a kid around the same age as Fern chuckles "It's Player, remember?" He says jokingly and sat back in his chair.

"Player One and Player Two, cute" Ginny snickered softly as she looked at Player and then at Fern

[Bouchard is Player's confirmed last name, his first name is a mystery]

"Red..we got a little bit of a problem.." Player exclaimed sharing his screen with the group "Bad news is that you have three visors...bad because I just found out they're hostile..." he says worriedly.

"I'll go deal with them.." Carmen says and gets up, she put on her fedora and walked out.
