*Jungkook POV*
I was sitting with my friends searching for one person. I saw her entering the cafeteria. I got up.

"Where are you going?" -Eun-woo asked me.

"I'll be back." -I say before jogging away.

*Y / N POV*
I entered the cafeteria with Rosé. We were about to go sit at the table when I saw Jungkook approaching me. I smiled and looked towards Rosé. I saw her finding seats for us. Just then I felt a presence in front of me. I looked and saw Jungkook.

"Uh. Y / N can we talk?" -He asked me.

"Yeah. Sure" -I say before informing Rosé.

We both went out towards the lockers and then he looked at me.

"My answer is yes." -I say to him before he could say anything.

"Really????" -He asked questioningly.

"Yes." -I say with a slight smile.

He smiled and said "Thanks."

*A few hours later*
It was time to go home so I was waiting for Rosé because she said she wants to walk me home. Just a few minutes she came out with the biggest smile. I knew Mingyu asked her. She came towards to me and hugged me.

"Mingyu??" -I asked.

"Yes." -She replied.

"Congratulations." -I say excited.

She moved back at frowned at me.

"When are you going to get one?" -She asked.

"I got one before you." -I surprised her.

"WHAT?!!!" -She was confused.

I told her everything.

"Girl, you won." -She exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Let's go." -I pulled her out.

*3 days later*
I was getting ready for prom. I just did I wanted to and didn't make it extra. As I was almost done, my brother entered my room with a knock.

"Sis, you ready?" -Taehyun asked.

"Yeah." -I say as I finished wearing my shoes.

"Let's go then. I'll drop you and then go to my friend's house." -He stated.

"Ok, let's go."

*Time skip - 20 minutes later*
We were here. I got out of the car as I bid Taehyun goodbye and he left. I looked around and saw Rosé taking a picture at the corner. I chuckled as you went towards her.

"Miss beauty, hello" -I said with a chuckle as she looked at me.

"Y / N!!!!!! You look so PRETTY!" -She said.

"What do you expect if you are my bestie?" -I laughed.

Me and Rosé talked a little before Jungkook and Mingyu came and we went inside the hall. I was sitting beside Jungkook while the others had a dance competition.

"I am the first one you asked to be your partner?" -I ask him as I keep my eyes on Rosé dancing.

"Yes." -He simply answered.

"Oh" -I answer simply.

I should've rejected him. I wouldn't be hurt and he could've found another partner. Yes, hurt. I am his partner just for a day and I shouldn't think ahead. My feelings would be hurt.

*2 hours later*
I was sitting outside the party hall to get some fresh air. While I was peacefully sitting, I felt a presence beside me. I fot confused and glanced beside me. Jungkook was there.

"What happened?" -I ask him.

"Nothing." -He answered back.

I stayed quite while looking at the lake in front.

"I have something to tell you." -He said.

"Yes? Go ahead." -I tell him.

"I love you." -He said without hesitation.

My eyes widen as I looked at him.

"J-jungkook?!" -I say loudly.

"Yeah?" -He looked at me.

"You what?" -I say shook.

"I.love.you" -He said each word clearly.

I was speechless. I had no words coming out of shockness.

"I really like you. I liked you for a long time but we being childish all the time, I couldn't confess. We were always bickering and fighting which distracted me to not confess and the longer I held onto my feelings, the deeper I fell for you. Please accept it." -His confession had so much emotion. I felt each word.

"You really like me?" -I ask.

"Yes!" -He said out of excitement.

"But.....you didn't ask me out so how should I accept?" -I ask him with a slight smirk.

"Oh, so that's how you'll do?" -He asked.

"I won't ask you out. Suffer!" -He said mercilessly.

I scoff.

"You really won't?" -I ask him.

"Yes. I won't." -He tells me.

"Yahhhh!" -I yell at him.

"No, I won't."

"Ok, I am sorry. Please forgive me?" -I ask him acting cute with puppy eyes.

"I won't fall for that." -He scoffs.

"reawy (really)?" -I ask him cutely.

"F*ck it." -He hugs me and whispers "Will you be my girlfriend, baby?"

His husky voice did give me chills but I was able to reply with a 'yes'.
