Chapter 31: blinky's day out

I was at home practicing my magic while Jim was in trollmarket, I was feeling much more connected to Xavia and with mom and Draal out of the house I was completely focused and Xavia said I'm probably a lot more powerful than her. I was meditating when I heard Jim come through the door with blinky? And I came upstairs and saw blinky as a HUMAN? And I asked "how?" And Jim explained and as I kept trying to figure out how to fix him non-Enrique came and Draal came up as well and I went beside him and blinky said "I've never cared much for human food, but... but the flavor! The texture! If only I had two more hands to eat faster what do you call this cuisine?" And I giggled and Jim said "leftovers?" And I said " you know Draal, thinking about it, you would look hot as a human" I winked at him and he chuckled " you're hot" and I giggled and Jim asked " can you please not flirt in front of me?" And I shrugged and non-Enrique said " I can't even look at you, your whole body is like an old sausage left on the grill too long haha" and I rolled my eyes and blinky asked " very amusing. Who invited him?" And non-Enrique said " it's borin sittin around in the crib all day. When I heard you changed, I didn't know it was into a fat, balding hot fudge sundae haha" oi he's annoying, I got a drink from the fridge and went over to Jim and Draal and Draal said " I didn't have time to tell you. While you were seeking the stone, that changeling Stricklerlander dropped y'all's mother off outside" ugh I hate him and Jim said " yeah, I know.  We sorta caught him on the way out" and Draal said " but maybe you did not see, he... uh... smushed faces with the Barbara" My eyes widened and I spit my drink out and Jim asked " he WHAT?" And Draal was still saying " what is the word you use? Uh kissed?" Then Jim got mad and I scoffed and Draal slammed his mechanical arm on the counter " I should have struck him down" and Jim said " yeah, you should have" and I scoffed and Jim said " I mean, no. Ugh, no! He had a spell. If anyone hurts him, it hurts our mom, gah! He's all over our mom." And I said " And we cant lay a finger on him" and Draal said " he's trying to get under your skin trollhunters, do not let him" and I said " easy for you to say, he's not your teacher" then blinky said " oh I think my stomach is trying to communicate with me" ew and non-Enrique said " that ain't your stomach, pal after eating a buffet like that, that freshly inner tube of a body is about to spring a leak." Then he looked at us and me and Jim made faces and blinky rushed to the bathroom and Jim asked " you didn't happen to overhear who Strickler brought back with him, did you? Some troll with big horns and a weird staff, maybe?" And Draal said " sorry, I do not know" and I said " yeah, well neither do we" then we heard the car beep, AH MOM and Jim said " ah! My mom's home! Everyone, hide!" Then Draal hid in the door and I was looking around trying to find a place for non-Enrique then we heard flushing, oh no blinky! Then Jim hammed non-Enrique in the fridge, then we heard the door open and then I heard blinky getting hurt, ugh come on then we rushed to blinky and I checked if he was okay and Jim said " mom! Wait, he's with us!" And mom said " Jim? Leslie? He's... Oh! Wait, wait. What? I'm sorry, who are you?" As we were trying to figure out to say I just said " he's mr blinky" and mom asked " okay what have they done now?" And I scoffed " have ye faith mom" and she gave me a look and blinky said " no, no, no. Jim and Leslie aren't in any trouble. I'm here to... assist and Jim said " yeah he's our uh..." And I quickly said " guidance counselor from school" and Jim nodded his head " yeah" and mom asked " since when do guidance counselors make house calls?" I couldn't help but nervously chuckled and he said " I'm new" and Jim said " principal Strickler just brought him in" and they nervously smiled and blinky asked " do you mind if we speak alone?" And blinky told mom " when I was first introduced to your son and daughter, I'd never met anyone  like them, they were scared, vulnerable, Gilles with questions. He was acting out and she just didn't care, having a father walk out on one's life is traumatic experience enough, but at their  tender age..." then mom turned to us " if  you both needed to talk to someone..." and Jim said " well you're always kind of working" eh that's true and mom asked " that's what this is about? And the late nights and the strange behavior? And Jim said " the letter... I wasn't sure how to tell you and I had to tell someone, and mr blinky's helped us through a lot of stuff" and then she asked about his name and he corrected her with the name blink-heh then she  hugged us then smiled at us and we smiled back then she said " I really appreciate that, Mr blinky, and I'm sorry I kicked you earlier" and blinky said " the pain is tolerable" the mom went to write down her phone number the Jim said " you know We don't care about my father" and blinky said " y'all do now" and I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. Me and the gang were going to a cliff ( I skipped where Claire and Toby came in because my phone is running out of juice and I need to speed this up) and Toby kept complaining and I sat on a rock and admired the sunset and it was so beautiful and I just made a fireball and swirled it around my hands and then I noticed Jim and Claire talking and I went closer and I heard Claire say " but I said no because I told him I was waiting for someone else to ask me" then Jim said "oh" come on brother, come on but all head was just sit there and do nothing and it was so awkward then Claire said " would you look at this? I hate when people litter" then she left and I facepalmed and Toby said " you blew it man, Claire Nuñez wanted you to ask her to the dance and you stood there and did nothing" and blinky said " even I think you... how did you say it? Ah, yeah 'blew it'" and I said " you're such a wuss" then Jim asked " what was I supposed to say?" Then Claire screamed and we went over to her way and we saw glass monsters then we started fighting him and used my fire balls but it didn't do anything and then Jim said that there was a stone in it and blinky said it was a animus totem and we must destroy it, I kept blasting it with my fireballs and I shot it in the chest and the totem came out and I crushed it hehe 2 down, 2 more to go, then Jim was leaving to go who knows where but we kept fighting and destroyed a golem only for another to come out, ugh and we ran to find Jim  and then we came to Jim and found in what blinky called a stasis trap and then he destroyed the last golem then we got a good look on his face and there were marks on it and blinky said " the golems... they were a distraction." And Claire asked " what does it mean?" And blinky said " the sigil of Angor rot. Master Jim, I fear you have been marked for a date worse than death" then I hugged him and he hugged back and I said " I'll get him home so he can get some rest" then we went home and Jim went to bed and I told Draal and he comforted me.
