So I was just walking down the street in L.A;I was there to take care of a few things. Also because I missed my friends. London is great and all but there is nothing like the warm sun and busyness of L.A.
As I was walking, memories was flashing before my eyes. Good and Bad. There were a lot of good memories but most of them were made with one special person. The Love of my Life. The one that got away because of something I did.
I rounded the corner and bumped into a soft and petite body. "I am so sorry, I was not looking where I was going. Are you okay?"I ask them. Shit Janet. It's your first day back in L.A and you're already clumsy as hell. They brushed their selves off. "It's okay. Yeah, I'm fine. I've been bumped into worse,"they say chuckling.
That voice. It sounds so familiar. Like I've been hearing it my whole life. It was deep and sultry sounding. No. It can't be. Not the Living Legend herself. Not my ex girlfriend of 5 years.
The smell of warm vanilla and strawberries hit my nose. It was so intoxicating. That's enough confirmation I need. She'll always be smelling like a damn ice cream cone with a strawberry. My favorite. "Toni?!"I asked surprised,looking up.
