"This must be it!!"

I exclaimed as I looked through the address for the last time before reaching out for the door bell of an old house.

It was a cottage house which was older and smaller in size compared to ours. Surrounded by woods and almost dried trees, it gave out creepy vibes.

Given the eerie exterior of the house, I was still contemplating over if I was at the right address, until the door of the house creaked open, revealing a familiar face.

"What the hell are you doing here at this hour of night??"

The contempt and bitterness being depicted through his words, was no surprise to me. Cause it would be a lie, if I say I didn't hold same antipathy towards him.

He was lucky that I didn't beat him to death when I caught him beating Jungkook in the university.

'That bloody rogue Alpha!'

I closed my eyes, letting out an exasperated sigh as to calm my wolf, who was ready to rip that bastard apart.

'Calm the hell down, this is not the time...'

I opened my eyes just to let out another sigh before opening my mouth to speak.

"I am here for Mother Alpha."

I announced in an unfazed tone, letting him know that he had no affect on me.

"There is no Mother Alpha here. Get the hell out of here before I shred you into pieces.."

He yelled threateningly as I could see his eyes turning ocean blue and his fangs were almost on the display.

'So, he is a White wolf..'

I smirked.

"By the way, Is it your habit to display your mezzo form in front of your guests or is this your special way of welcoming me? What a disgrace to White wolves, who are famous for their peaceful personalities....."

I mocked, raising an eyebrow with a huge smug on my face that could only add fuel to fire. It was amusing how his expressions were turning even darker but he was trying his hardest to hold himself back.

That was surprising though.

Cause given his low temper, he would've landed a punch on my face by this time but either he was scared of me, which was probably not true. Which means there was possibly another reason that was holding him back.

"Hahahaha...Now a douche bag like you would lecture me on nature and character of the white wolves???"

He burst into laughter. An ironic one.

But me, on the other hand was calmly watching him in amusement. Cause for now, I knew he could do nothing but talk.

"Who is at the door, Jayde? You've been out for a while..."

A feminine voice, too soft and incredibly mature, holding essence of longevity, came across my ears.

My attention reflexively turned to the person who just entered the scene.

'She must be Mother Alpha...'

I thought to myself as I gazed at the woman, who seemed to be in her 80's but exceptionally stronger in her aura and almost unbelievable to eyes.

"Uhhh..I...I..am Jin..uhh..Kim SeokJin from DONG-JUN Clan. I am eldest son of CHOI KANG DAE. I am here to meet Mother Alpha..."

I didn't know how I managed to let out all those words under her domineering gaze. It was like I was under some spell and almost lost my ability to move.
