I kind of took the lyrics from Taylor Swift's song "Wonderland", and turned it into a little story on Luna Lovegood, and how she found wonderland and got lost in it.-------------DISCLAIMER: I do not own the idea, it is based on Taylor Swift's song.If you would like me to do more of these, then just message me with any suggestions or ideas you have.

Adventures; something Luna was very fond of.

At first, it seemed almost impossible to tell the difference between the whispering of the trees, and the small voice in her head that seemed to be singing words from a song she couldn't recognise.

"Luna!"

She was sure she'd heard it. Startled, she turned around, glancing in all directions, desperately trying to find the person who had so casually let the words roll of his or her tongue.

"Luna!" It called again.

This time she saw where it came from.

Running along a small path, within close distance was him. The boy Luna had seen way too many times. His grey eyes, blonde hair and pale skin.

He seemed to be waving to her. Which seemed impossible. Previously, he'd never even acknowledged her. In fact, he'd never even shown any signs that indicated he knew of her existence.

But nonetheless, there he was now. Waving at her. She was certain.

She walked over to him, but he seemed to run away. She stopped. Glancing in his direction, confused. Moments later, he reappeared, waving his hand at her. Telling her to follow him. She did.

It was difficult, but she just about managed to keep up. Down the winding path, with overgrown hedges on either side, and trees forming a roof over the passage, letting in just the right amount of light.

Plants, most of which Luna didn't recognise, lined the sides of the path. Plants of new colours, and exciting smells. She was tempted to stop and pick one up, and place it into her hair behind a small strand that had fallen down in front of her eyes.

Not long after she spotted a clearing in the trees, and ran a little faster to see what she had been led to. But all there was...

With a sudden lurching feeling in her gut, she fell forwards. Tempted to let out a scream, she reminded herself that it was probably the Nargles. Those darn Nargles.

Falling and falling. Down and down. It was like she was falling down a rabbit hole.

Would this ever end?

Soon enough, her questions were answered. She landed swiftly on the ground. Normally, this would hurt, but it didn't.

She looked around. She didn't recognise the place she was in. But there he was again. He walked over to her and held her hand. She felt safe then-like he was telling her "it's going to be okay,". But she knew that she couldn't always trust her instincts, because nothing's as it seems.

She was still puzzled. Where was she? But more prominently in her mind was another questions (sure, she had many) why did she follow him in the first place?

It all seemed new and exciting. The thought of going on an adventure. To explore the place they had subsequently landed in. From falling down a rabbit hole. Did they all lead to a small mysterious place. A place she could only dream of. A place she wondered if existed, and if anyone else had been.

She watched him, his grey eyes seemed to shine at her, as though encouraging her to continue exploring the wondrous place.

It all seemed new and exciting, but she knew she should still keep her ground and keep watching out for potential threats. Or things which could be suspicious.

After a minute or so, the boy started walking off again.

"Hey!" she called after him "Wait up!"

He didn't stop, but with a slow run, Luna found herself standing alongside him in no time. She loved the feeling of being somewhere she could explore by herself, or with him. It made it feel special, like it was just them. But she knew it wasn't.

"Luna,"

The voice was in her head and was calling again. Maybe it was in her head earlier, when she had suspected that it was the boy calling to her. But it was too late to ask. Besides, the topic didn't really seem like it was up for discussion.

"Luna," the voice whispered to her.

She ignored it.

Watching wide-eyed as the overgrown woodland they had just been trudging through ended, and open fields emerged, with colourful flowers once again.

"Luna,"

It called again. Louder this time. Like someone was talking to her. Maybe they were. So close. She looked around-hoping to find the person who was speaking. It definitely was not the boy, whom she had first suspected.

"Can you hear them too?"

She asked him.

No reply.

"Hel-"

But when she turned back to face him, he was gone. No longer there.

"Hello?"

Oh dear...

"Hello? Is anyone there?"

Over in the distance, there he was. Smiling at her like a Cheshire Cat. It was creepy, but he probably meant it to be comforting and calm her nerves.

She walked over to him, as his smile faded. He wrapped his arms around her.

"It's okay,"

But he pulled out of the hug and shook his head.

"He's right. You've lost your mind!"

The voice was back again-it never left. But for once she was glad it was there. Because it was right.

This wasn't right.

She glanced at her feet. Disappointed with herself.

Rabbit holes don't lead to a mystical land. She looked up. Maybe she could finally convince him to let her in on the truth. But he was gone. To the other side of the field.

"Wait," She called out hopelessly "Come back!"

She reached out her hand. But he turned and walked off. Not even bothering to say goodbye. Now that she thought about it, he hadn't even said a single word.

She knew that now was the end of her small adventure. She had to go home.

The world seemed to spin, making Luna dizzy. She was going mad. This was surely not real right?

"Luna," the voice called out again, screaming this time.

"Luna!" Now it was the loudest it had ever been.

"No," she whispered, falling to the floor putting her hands over her ears.

THUD.

"Luna!"

"Luna!"

"Luna!"

She jumped.

"Are you okay?"

Luna looked around. But it was okay. She was in the great hall. Eating breakfast with her friend, Ginny Weasley.

"Oh, yes, I'm fine..."

But from across the hall she could see him, the boy from her dream. Draco Malfoy.

For a second, his eyes met with hers, while she caught a glimpse of grey, and he flashed her a quick smile, before he looked away.

All this time she had been stuck in a world of her own. But really life was never worse, but never better.

After all, it was just a dream land. Wonderland.
