Hiro Hamada is one of the Hamada brothers, who usually has Baymax by his side. He, along with Honey Lemon, Gogo, Wassabi, and Fred make up a team of brave superheroes, commonly known as Big Hero 6.
However, one night when things were turning bright for Hiro, a massive fire broke out and a legendary technician, known as Callaghan, was inside the building. His older brother, named Tadashi, went inside to try and save him… but Callaghan ended up protecting himself, killing Tadashi in the process as the fire EXPLODED, causing the building to be destroyed.
Ever since then, Hiro’s life has been extremely tough, due to the fact that he lost his older brother. Luckily, he still had Baymax by his side. As he was in his bedroom in The TOON House, which was his new home, Drawer came upstairs to check on him. Hiro felt completely distraught.
“Are you… feeling okay?” Drawer calmly asked.
“N… No…” Hiro sadly replied as he laid in his bed while sighing.
“Do you… want to talk about it?” Drawer asked him.
Hiro just sighed sadly as he looked at a picture of him and his now-deceased brother.
“I can’t believe he’s gone.” Hiro tearfully said. “He meant so much to me.”
“Oh…” Drawer sadly understood. “I see. You still miss Tadashi?”
“Yeah.” Hiro sadly sighed. “Sometimes... I wish… I wish... that he didn't go into that fire…”
“Me too.” Drawer agreed as he calmly comforted him. “I know how it feels to lose someone you love. It definitely is one of the worst feelings out there.”
“You mean… you lost someone in your family as well?” Hiro asked.
“Well… even worse.” Drawer sadly replied. “When I was born, I had to know that I never had a mom… nor a dad.”
Hiro gasped in shock as he even had a few tears, feeling completely terrible.
“You mean… you never had a family?!” He tearfully asked.
“I’m afraid so.” Drawer sadly replied. “Trust me. I hate to know that I’m the only drawer in existence now. It’s very sad indeed, so I understand how you feel about Tadashi, he and I were really close friends since you both moved in with me years ago.”
“Well, at least I still have you, Baymax and my friends by my side.” Hiro added as he sighed again.
“Yeah.” Drawer agreed. “I'll let you go ahead and take a moment to yourself for a bit. I'll be back later. “
“Okay, Drawer.” Hiro understood. “Thanks for helping me feel better.”
“Anytime.” Drawer said as he left his bedroom.
