i also think zenitsu relates to this song quite a lot I think you'll get it if you listen to the song
plot:
zenitsu is a depressed and self-loathing teen, he feels like he's not good at being a demon slayer and is always told he won't be enough by kaigaku and some of the others, he grows depressed and hides it behind a small smile he bottles up all his feelings until (with his heightened sense of hearing) hears his most precious people tanjiro and inosukes doubts about him, he breaks down and becomes suicidal afraid of abandonment and abuse he tries to commit suicide and one day he is "killed" by a demon and was "killed in action" since they could never find his body but he is actually being turned into a demon by muzan as a weapon against the other demon slayers he didn't die but really just decided to give up, he wakes up to be reborn as a demon (turned into a demon) and is told by muzan everything he's been wanting to hear, ignoring his hearing telling him it was all a lie, he was just so emotionally and mentally unstable that at that point he would believe anything.(and he was a demon so he couldn't remember some/ most of his past other then pain guilt and suicidal thoughts)
