The Moment I saw them I knew something needed to be done. Watching as they sped towards the car that was waiting behind the hospital. Knowing I had two options. Turn my back and walk away or handle the situation. I chose the more daring one. Getting to my feet, I sprint towards the car as it sped off and as I made it to the bumper, I lifted the car and threw it on its side.

Standing a few feet away from the car feeling my adrenalin pumping, I watch as all the doors flew open, and the four guys jumped out. "What the fuck Moxie?" One yelled as he stalked towards me. Holding my stance, I heard the sirens behind me and knew, I needed to run. The guy let out a chuckle before he spoke. "Next time Mo." and in a flash, they were gone. Shaking my head, I turned toward the road and saw the cops flying towards the accident. Placing a grin on my face, I took off, running in the alley next to the crashed car.

I knew those guys from school. Due to my poor behavior, my wonderful parents forced me to take night classes to catch up on my grades and at night is when the vampires go to school. I heard them talking the other night about stealing blood from the hospital and it pissed me off. I knew the right thing would have been telling the cops but when you get in trouble often with them, they tend to care less about you. The blood donated is meant for those that get hurt or are dying, not for lazy hungry vampires who don't want to drink from animals or drink the synthetic shit they sell at the store.

As I make my way to the end of the alley, an officer cuts me off at the end. "Not today, Moxie." He says trying to catch his breath. Giving him a grin, I turn around, running the other way just to notice the other officers blocking my escape. Looking up, I see the fire escape. Jumping, I grab hold of the latter and pull myself up. Being a wolf has its advantages sometimes.

Running up the stairs, I make it to the roof and sprint to the other end, jumping to the next building. Not looking back, knowing the faster I move, the less likely they wont catch me. As I made it midair on the fourth building, my legs felt tied and started burning. "What the fuck!" I yelled as my body flew down towards the depths of the alley. Closing my eyes and I held my breath as I waited to meet the depths of the dark ground. Moments later, I open my eyes slowly and see I'm currently hanging upside down. Trying to look up, I noticed the cop that always manages to catch me, Officer Richard. "Hey Dick, this new toy of yours kind of sucks... can you let me up maybe, its burning my fucking legs." I yell watching him laugh from above.

"Well Moxie, we had to up our tools to catch you and this bad boy slings silver chain making you immobile. Thanks for being our test subject." Crossing my arms over my chest, I hang there shaking my head. Now I need to run faster from Mr. Dick.

After pulling me up, they place cuffs around my hands and escort me from the roof. "Look Dick..."

"It's Richard Moxie, Officer Richard and you are in quite the trouble. Flipping a car, causing damage to public property. No one was found in the car so there are no witnesses which is not good." Rolling my eyes, knowing he won't take me to the station but I'll will be going straight home to the chief of police, my dad. Choosing to work with them and making their night a little easier, I walked with them and got in the back of the car. "You ran good tonight, Dick, I can tell your getting faster." A grin on my face as he looked in the rear-view mirror over to me and shaking his head. Officer Richard is also a wolf but with my father being an Alpha, the gene made its way to me. The only way to tell if a female is an Alpha is the color of the wolfs coat and it's white.

At the age of thirteen is when a wolf changes for the first time and once I did, my parents were so happy seeing my white fur. The only one that showed concern was my Nana. My Nana's name is Susan, and the town calls her the crazy lady for the stories she tells but me, I love her stories and how much adventure they have in them. My father never liked me hearing the tall tales because it was giving me hope to live an adventurous life when I should follow in his footsteps instead. Don't get me wrong, I love my dad but there is no way I want to lead anyone. The first chance I get, I will be leaving the city and live in any kind of woods I can find.

"We're here." Dick said as he parked in front of my house and looking out the window, I see my dad, Chief Charles standing in the doorway waiting for me. "Great." I sarcastically say as he opened the door, grabbing hold of my arm to help me out and taking the cuffs off.

Walking towards my dad, my mom stood next to him, and the look of disappointment was spread over both of their faces. "Let me explain..." I started until my dad put his hand up in protest. "In the house now." He demanded as I walked around my parents and into the house. Hearing them talk to the other cops, I made my way upstairs and into my room. There is no way I am waiting in here for a scolding from my dad today.

Walking towards the window, I look out and see its all clear. Climbing out, I slide quietly down the drainpipe to the ground. As I looked both ways, I head towards the back of the house to avoid anyone seeing me and start to run through all the yards. What I did was wrong today, but I did it for the right reasons. I know I get into what they call "trouble" often, but I can't help it.

Making my last stretch of houses, I make it to a smaller house than the others. This house is special because it has been in my family for generations, and it is where my family came from. This home belongs to my Nana, and she is the only person in the city to have any kind of land left and I love it. Walking up to the door taking a deep breath, pausing as my hand hovered next to the door and knocked lightly.
