it's been 5 months. 5 months without him. his voice. his touch. everything. nailea has been feeling a lot better than she has a few months ago and started to focus more on her mental health. but of course, robbie still is on her mind.
she tries to think about him less but the times she has flashbacks from her dad to seeing robbie in the hospital, it can lead to a panic attack.
usually, when that happens she either calls her mom, her brother, since they usually know how to stop them.
one minute she's doing okay and the next minute she's not. that's how it's been for the past 5 months.
she's gotten close with a lot of people over the course of 5 months and she loved them very much but she can't be happy knowing he's not there to share those moments with her. she's carrying a lot of baggage and is afraid confide in someone and let it out.
she was able to pull enough money together from work and youtube to find an apartment in los angeles. she is moving there to pursue her career and meet some of her online friends. she was very excited about it but knew in her head she would miss texas and all of it's memories.

*knock knock knock*
"come in!" nailea yelled from across the room.
"i just wanted to say goodbye." maggie says glaring at her best friend while frowning.
"i'll be back!" she replied as she stopped her packing to look up at maggie.
"but you'll still go back!" maggie exclaimed back at nailea.
"oh, please don't cry. you know i'm bad at comforting and you always get mad when i laugh." nai replies awkwardly smiling.
maggie chuckles
"but really, how do you feel about moving away from your hometown?" maggie asks while plopping down on nailea's plain white bed.
silence enters the room as nailea just sits herself next to maggie on the bed playing with the rings on her fingers. maggie can tell that she's not so sure about this decision.
"come." maggie says as she opens her arms up gesturing for nai to hug her. "you'll be okay. you deserve this. and i'll call you everyday to check on you if you want" maggie reassures her.
nailea smiles at her best friends words.
"i love you" maggie says as she lays her head on her best friends right shoulder, "and i love you." nailea replied staring at the other side of the room.

"i'm about to head out mami. maggie's taking to me to the airport" nailea says to her mom pulling her into a tight hug. "i love you nailea. have a safe trip and please call me when you get there." nailea's mom replied, breaking the hug.
and with that, nailea went into the airport.
she went through security and walked to her gate. it was about 1:03pm and her flight boards at 1:34. she was bound to get to L.A around 4-5ish.
she scrolled through instagram while waiting when she saw a text from her brother.

she started to get hungry and it was only about 1:15 so she figured she could get something to snack on.
she grabbed her airpods and her phone, walked towards the starbucks, and got in line.
"hi! what would you like?" the sweet worker asked. "um could i just have a caramel frappuccino?"
"of course!" the sweet boy replied smiling.
nai smiled back and went to her seat.

"ma'am, your drink is done!" a girl said holding the drink up so nailea could get it.
"oh, sorry thank you!" nailea replied smiling.
she took the cup and headed off.
on the way back to her gate, she looked at the cup and saw a phone number. she knew it was the boys. but she just drank her coffee and threw it out. she didn't want his number. and she didn't want to move on from robbie so quickly.
