Michael and I met on Instagram through mutual friends unexpectedly to soon find out our two souls would be one. We have been in a long-distance relationship for 2 years, I'm not going to lie, it was rocky at the start, and we actually broke up for a few months. A 5 hour time difference is tough for anyone, and at 17 years old, that was a huge commitment. We weren't very good at being broken up, though, and after only a few months we got back together even though we were 4,000 miles apart.
I remember the first conversation we had.
Uploading a picture on Instagram saying "I lost my mind tryna be in yours". #Hawaiianlife
He commented.
He said "You were already on my mind but I was wondering could you be my shawty "
I looked at his profile and decided to text him.
That's when our story started.
I said, "Hey, are you for real about what you said?"
And he replied back with "yeah, you're very pretty and I want to get to know you"
After talking for two hours, and face timing three times, I learned so much about him.
He is 18 years old.
He lives in Maryland.
His mom is a doctor.
And he was single.
He likes using "xD and <3"
So we got to talking some more and by this time it was already 2 in the morning. I had to get up at 6 in the morning and he had to wake up at 8.
So we said goodnight and before I turned my phone off.
He typed " I would be the guy who walks 1,000 miles, and then 1,000 more. Just to be the guy who walked thousands of miles, to fall down at your door."
