She's Not Afraid

LOUIS P.O.V

I picked up the small gem and brought it to the check out counter. It was some sort of beautiful charm. it had a small diamond in the middle and a silver blank disk surrounding it. It was just enough room for some small words to be carved into it.

"Excuse me do you have a chain for this?"

"Um.. Ummmm... I'll check."

"Thank you love." I smiled at the counter girl.

She came back with a long chain and a small chain. I'd remembered Emily loves to wear long chained necklaces, so I asked her for the long chained one. I purchased the charm and necklace and another small charm and then went to another jewerly store that I knew could carve what I want into the necklace. When I got there, I told the man what I wanted. It took about and hour to carve, so I went to starbucks and got a coffee and snack. When I came back it was all finished.

I took the necklace and second charm home and prepared it. I walked through the front door and asked Liam where Emily was. He said she was in our room, so I went to the spare room to do my work.

I found the old friendship bracelet I had kept that Emily made me years ago and adjusted it to fit my wrist. I took the charm and slid it on. I attached it to my wrist and smiled at my work. I then took Emily's necklace and put it in a small giftbox. I tied a nice pink, fluffy bow on top of it and put it in my pocket.

I walked into the hall and knocked on the door of my own room. Kinda funny that I have to knock on my own door to my own room.

"Come in!" Emily yelled.

I pushed open the door, stepped in and smiled. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey!" She jumped up off the bed and came up and hugged me. I returned the favor still not saying a word.

She pulled away and looked back up at me. "Well c'mon say something!" she laughed.

Instead, I pulled out the small box from my pocket and placed it in her hand. She looked down at it confused.

"What's this?" I just nodded at the box and raised my eyebrows acknowledging her to open it.

She gently untied the small bow and opened up the box.

"Oh my god Lou! This is beautiful!" She pulled it out of the box and placed the box on the dresser.

"What's the occasion?" She laughed.

"Being the most amazing girlfriend day." I smiled.

She laughed and looked closer at it. I took it from her hand and put it next to my charm and together they read:

Always and Forever

Her charm said Forever and mine said Always. 

"Is that the bracelet I made you in like 7th grade?"

"Yep. I always kept it."

"Aw Lou that is so sweet. I love it! Thank you so much baby!"

I pulled her into a large hug and we shared a sweet kiss.

"It's so you'll know I'll never leave you. If I'm ever gone, I'll always still be here with you. Don't ever be afraid when you're alone. I'll always be here Emily."

"I'm not afraid Lou. I know you'll always be here."

"That's my girl." 

I gave her another long hug and kiss, and then snuggled on the bed with her until she fell asleep in my arms.

I AM SO SORRY. I've been gone for so long :c But I hope this chapter makes up for it. I had something for this but I kinda forgot it.... Lol so yeah. What do you think should happen next? Have an input even though I have whats gonna happen next planned? :D Lol kbye!
