"I swear, I was texting Nash like aall last night." Asia was going on and on about Nash on our walk from school, to their apartment. "Uh huh." Was all I said, half grinning. "Like, he is so sweet! We were up all night just talking and talking. I swear, that boy really knows how to keep a lady entertained." She smirked. I just laughed. "I see some chemistry between the two of you." I winked at her. She just giggled, and blushed. We approached the front of the apartment building. I pushed the security button, and we stated our names. Then, it scanned Asia and I. Luckily, it recognized our faces from the weekend before. So, after we heard the little click, I swung the door open, and we walked inside. We headed up the staircase to the highest floor, which was the sixth one. "Which room number are they in, again?" Asia asked. "602". I replied. We stopped when we hit 602, then I knocked on the door. A few moments later, Nash answered the door. He grinned brightly at us, but mostly at Asia. "Heey, ladies! Nice to see y'all again." "Heyy." I said, casually. "Hi Nash!" Asia said, a bit too enthusiastically. He smirked. "Come on in. Come in." He motioned us inside, and we entered."Cam's

in the kitchen." Nash said to me. "Cool." I went ahead and made my way to the kitchen, leaving Nash and Asia all alone, which she would probably thank me for later. When I entered the kitchen, I saw Cam listening to music, while cutting up some vegetables on a cutting board. He looked up and grinned when he saw me. He stopped and took both of his ear buds out. "Oh hey, Ness! I didn't hear you come in." He walked up, and gave me a short hug. I groaned. "Urgh, please don't call me that. I thought we were pass that." I said, giving him a knowing look. "What, you think I'd forget that nickname I used to call you when we were little? Ness. Short for the Lock Ness Monster." He just chuckled to himself, and I rolled my eyes, but tried to hold back a smirk at the memory.

Seven years ago at sleepaway camp--- also known as Camp Dewdrop...
I was playing kickball with Cam, and a few other campers. When it was Cam's turn to kick the ball, our friend, Mike, rolled the ball to Cam, and he kicked the shit out of it. He kicked it so hard, that it landed in the lake, with a big splash. Everyone hooted. "Now, who's gonna get that?" Mike said, looking around, smirking. Everyone went silent. "I guess I'll get it." So, I ran over to the lake, with everyone following behind me. "Wait, woah, woah, woah, Vanessa, be careful! Don't slip!" Cam warned. But it was already too late. With me not knowing that the deck was slippery, my foot slid, I fell forward, and the next thing you know, I ended up in
the lake with an even bigger splash. Suddenly, everybody busted out laughing. Except for Cam. He kind of just stood there, with a worried, concerned face. My heart pounded out of my chest, in humiliation. When I finally managed to climb out of the lake, I was covered in seaweed, from head to toe. Everyone laughed some more. My face turned red hot in embarrassment. Cam immediately approached me. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked, with a tiny smirk. "That was quite a fall." "I- I think so. At least I'm not injured." Was all I could say. "Come on, let's take you to your room, to go change your clothes." Cam suggested, tugging me by the arm, back to the cabins.

I groaned. "I hate thinking back to that summer." "Come on Ness, that was actually pretty funny." Cam said, chuckling. "Was not!" "Alright, alright, alright. But one day you're going to look back at that day and laugh." He took a bite out of one of the carrots he was cutting. "So, what are you making?" I asked, switching the subject. "Beef stew." He replied, proudly."We're gonna be having a visitor." "Oh, since when did you become a chef?" I teased. "Since I graduated from Dallas School of Culinary Arts." He joked, as he continued chopping. I crossed my arms. "Oh really?" "Mmhm." "With a masters degree?" I joked, smirking. "You know it." I giggled. Suddenly the front door beeped, someone must have arrived. "Oh hey, I think that's Hayes." Cam said, putting his knife down, and headed to the living room. Hayes? Hayes Grier? I obviously knew that he was Nash's younger brother, but I've never actually met him in person. I followed Cam in the living room, because I heard Asia screaming and fangirling. And there he was. Hayes. Him with his dark fluffy hair, his nice succulent lips, his hot jawline, and his sexy blue eyes. I don't think I've ever seen anyone so tall and perfect. When we locked eyes, I felt like we were the only two people in the room.
