Cam's POV:

The next night, me and Vanessa's family finally reunited. We all went to Dave & Busters for dinner. I felt so happy and comfortable with us being all together again. I felt like we were all just a big old happy family. Just like how it use to be. "Can you pass the ketchup?" My mom asked Vanessa's dad. He handed it to her."Wow... I can't remember the last time both of our families just sat down together and spent time with each other." Mrs. Diamond said, happily. "I know right, it's been so long." Vanessa put in, as she ate a fry. "Way too long." My dad added. "So Cameron, how's life going for you, son?" Mr. Diamond asked, grinning. "Oh it's going great! My friend Nash and I just finished filming a movie. And this it's my first movie, so I know it's going to be an unforgettable one." I replied, proudly. Nash and I have worked our asses off shooting that movie for the pass month. I hope it turns out to be amazing. "Well I can't wait to see it!" Vanessa chimed in. "I know it's going to be spectacular." She moved my hands apart from each other like she was forming a rainbow. I chuckled. "You sound like Asia." She laughed. "Well what do you expect, that's my best friend." We all ate and basically  discussed our lives from the pass seven years. Including a bunch of funny stories, as well. A little bit later, Tyler and Tommy, headed over to the arcade. An hour passed.

"Yeaah, but I'm just glad that we're all here together. Hanging out. Just like old times." I said, happily. "Oh yeah, definetly." My mom agreed. "We should really do this more often." Yessss, we really should. I thought. Everyone murmured in agreement. I knudged Vanessa. "Aye, Ness, you wanna head over to the arcade?" "Duh." She half grinned. So we went over to the arcade, and first played Ghostbuster, Blackfoot, and a few other games. I kept glancing at her in the corner of my eye while we played. I loved how her face was so intense as she played video games. I found it so sexy. And those lip bites... oh my god. She beat me in like half of the games, and I was pretty impressed. Then, we came upon, Territory War. "Oh my gosh! This is my game!" She exclaimed. "Betcha ten bucks imma beat 'cha in this one!" "Alright, sweetheart, get ready to lose your money!" So we played for about twenty minutes. It was a long game. But she beat me. "Whooo! I won!" She cheered. "What now, Dallas?" She bucked at me. "I let you win." I insisted. "Yeah right." She rolled her eyes. I chuckled. "Nah, but I have to admit. Shawty got skills." I gave her an impressed look, and she smiled, then flipped her hair, proudly. I stared at her for a moment. "Wanna go outside?" I suggested. "I don't know... it's getting dark." "What, are you scared of the dark? Don't worry, I gotchu." I held her body from behind, and began to walk. She laughed. "Relax. I'm ain't scared of no dark." But, I didn't let go until we actually made it outside. There were a few tables there, but luckily no one was sitting in them. It was just us. "Man, the stars are bright tonight." Vanessa said, gazing at them. "Yeah. Kinda reminds me of us sitting down beneath them together when we were little." I added.

Flashback to nine years ago...
Every night, before it was time for us to hit the sheets, Vanessa and I use to lay beneath the stars in either her, or my backyard. And we would just have long, relaxing talks. Sometimes even play games. That night, we had just came back from Six Flags. "Man, today was so fun!" She exclaimed. "Yeaah, all fun except when I threw up on the Looney Tunes Bounce." She giggled. "Okay, that was actually pretty funny!" We stayed silent for a moment. "Remember when that guy was trying to cut me in line, so you pushed him in the lake?" I said. We both laughed. "Well he was asking for it! No one cuts in front of my best friend." Vanessa demanded. I thought it was so cute whenever she stook up for me. We stook up for each other."The sky is so beautiful tonight." She said. "Yeah." I agreed. But not as beautiful as you, I thought. But I could never have the guts to say that to her face. "Hey, you wanna play a game?" I suggested. "Constellation Match?" "You know it." I grinned. We used to play that like, every night. I squinted at the stars. "Hey, I found a butterfly!" Vanessa called out. "What? No way!" "Yeah I did, it's right there!" She pointed across the sky. And, I finally saw the beautiful butterfly. "Ooooh, I see it now." "Isn't it pretty?" "Oh look, I found a dragon!" "You find a dragon like every night." She laughed. "But, I see it. So cool." "Yeah." I agreed. "Man, I love doing this with you." "Me too." We smiled at each other. "I can't imagine doing this with anyone else, besides you." I added. "I know. And, I love how we're so comfortable with each other. I swear, you mean so much to me." My heart warmed after she said that. I couldn't stop grinning. "You mean so much to me, too." I said back. Suddenly, my mom popped her head out of Vanessa's back door. "Cam! Time to go home, honey." She called. "Coming mom!" I called back. "Hey, walk me out?" "Of course." Vanessa agreed.

We both smiled at the memory. "Yeaaah." I put my arm around her, and rubbed her arm. We stared at each other for a moment as we were sitting. We were so close to each other. I stared at her, then her lips. She did the same. I felt like she wanted me to kiss her. But before I got a chance to lean in, Mrs. Diamond interrupted us. She swung the back door to the restaurant open, and poked her head out. "Hey there you guys are! Come inside,we're getting ready to leave." Oh come on! Really? Vanessa stood up and I made an annoyed expression at her mom's bad timing. Then, I followed her out.

Before we left to go in our seperate  vans, with our families, we stopped in front of each other in the parking lot. "I had such a great time with you tonight." She said, warmly. "Yeah, me too. I miss this." I put a hand on her shoulder. She put her hand on top of it, and squeezed it, then grinned. "We definetly need to chill more. I forgot how amazing you are." I smiled, brightly. "I never forgot how amazing you were." I replied, pulling her into a tight hug. I felt her squeezing me back, harder. "I love you." She said, quietly. My heart raced. Did she just... "I love you too." I replied, sincerely. Then, she broke away, and we both headed back over to our seperate cars. Yep. I think I definetly won her over. I thought, with a huge, satisfied, smile.
