It's been a week since I've last talk to Regina, but David came by today and asked if I really slept with his wife.

" Fuck Mal how could you do this to me? You slept with my wife!?" He showed up early this morning and has been yelling at me ever since.

"David... You know shouting makes me nervous." I say timidly.

He looks at me and scoffs.

"Yeah I remember Mal, but I don't care if you have a panic attack. In fact I hope you do and you die from it!

I take a deep breath.

"I- I didn't mean to, I fe- fell in love with h- h- her" I take a sharp inhale and fold my hands looking down.

I know it sounds horrible, but it's actually a lot better than what I usually sound like when I'm this nervous.

I'm really putting in a lot of effort to talk. But he doesn't seem to care.

mocks."Well I'm sure she doesn't love you. I mean how could she? Look at you, a stuttering mess. You think just because of that thing you call a dick swinging between your legs that you're a real man?"

" W- well actually I ident- ify as a wom-an" I correct him.

My breathing getting faster.

"St-  stop yell i- i-i-ing."

My voice hitches and my mind goes back to when we were kids.

He's still the same. He never changes.

I bring my hands to my ears and rock back and forth, trying to keep from falling over the edge.

"This is all your fault Mal! It's because you couldn't keep that disgusting thing hidden. This is why my marriage is falling apart! It's all because of you!!"

He slaps me across my face. Pulling my hands from my ears he throws me off of the couch, and kicks me in my side.

" If you really love her you should be glad. If she was as weak minded as you, I'd paint her skin a lovely black and blue too." He smiles down at me.

" No! Don't hurt her please" I shout panicked.

" Oh look at that. A full sentence without a stutter." He chuckles.

He sends a powerful kick to my ribcage and I yell out in pain.

"I'm sorry David. I didn't mean to ruin everything, I'm sorry!"

I curl into a ball saying countless apologies.

He smiles.

" You're pathetic. If Emma weren't in the house I would have all ready done this to my whore of a wife."

I look at him.

" B- but you said she had a strong mind." I say now worried even more for my loves safety.

"She does, which is why I'd lock her up somewhere before she could use that wonderful mind of her's. I really do love my wife Mal, but Mary was just so submissive."

"Wait . If she was blackmailing you a- nd Regina found out a-anyway but you're still sleeping with Mary. what was the arrangement you made?" I ask curiously.

He just smiles.

" Bye bye Mal" he says standing up and leaving.

I stay in my position a little longer, so I can calm down. Then once I'm sure he's gone I slowly get up and walk to the front door.

I want to see her.
