𝕾𝖈𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖘 | 𝘐𝘸𝘢𝘰𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘨𝘦 (HIATUS)

Birthday party preparations

As soon as Kageyama arrived in front of his house, he could almost hear his friends are talking rather loudly inside. It seems that they are busy preparing for the party tonight. Kageyama opened the door and quickly went inside. He took off his shoes and carefully put it on the shoes rack. "I'm back!" Kageyama said, a little bit loud so that his friends aware that he's home.

Seconds after that, Kageyama been greeted by a few footsteps sounds. "Kageyama, welcome back!" It was Sugawara, the mom of his friends' group. Sugawara seem to be baking something as there's some flour smudged on his left cheek. Kageyama just nodded and smile warmly at Sugawara before he headed to the living, only to see Tanaka, Nishinoya, Yachi and Yamaguchi were busy decorating the entire space. There are balloons everywhere.

Tanaka, who was busy cutting some of the coloured papers into pieces, noticed Kageyama stood still across. "Hey Kageyama, when did you came back?" Tanaka asked. "Ryuu, he already announced his arrival just a few minutes ago" Nishinoya interrupted.

Tanaka scratched his head in confusion. "Really? Wow, I must be too immersed in my job until I can't heard you. Sorry, Kageyama!" Tanaka apologised.

"It's okay, Tanaka-san. It was me who should apologised to you guys for making you busy even though today is weekend" Kageyama smiled and bow politely, apologising to his friends.

"It's alright, Kageyama-san. Today is your special day so it's naturally for us to help you to celebrate it as your friends!" Yachi exclaimed. As soon as she realised that she was talking too loud, she blushed all different shades of red and quickly hide her cute face.

"Well said, Yachi-san" Yamaguchi, being a cinnamon roll he is, clapping at Yachi's cute outburst. This make Yachi feels even more embarrassed.

Kageyama chuckled at the sight in front of him. His friends are really great. Then, his legs make their ways to the kitchen. There, he met Daichi, who was helping Sugawara to make cookies, Asahi who was busy cutting the fruits and vegetables, Ennoshita who was cooking many delicious foods and Narita who was washing the dishes that has been used.

"Hey guys!" Kageyama greeted, grabbing a seat near the island. "Hey there birthday boy" Daichi smiled, ruffling Kageyama's head like most of the dads did. Well, Daichi is the dad of his friends'group group, so it was not weird for him to have such behaviors.

Then, all of them slowly greet Kageyama back, one by one. "Is there anything I can help with?" Kageyama feels bad for burdening his friends more, so if they want his help, he will be more than willing to help. Sugawara shook his head. "It's okay, sweetie. We can handle it"

"Oh okay"

Kageyama glanced around the room. There's someone...no there are two persons who are not here. "Where are Tsukishima and Kiyoko-san?" Kageyama couldn't help but to ask. He didn't see those two anywhere since the time he stepped inside the house.

"Oh, Kiyoko has gone to the convenience shop to buy more drinks because we are short of it and Tsukishima followed her" Ennoshita answered. Kageyama nodded, understanding what Ennoshita has stated.

Sugawara who has finished baking his cookies, turn around to look at his precious younger friend. "Why don't you go freshen yourself up? We will begin the party soon"

"Yeah sure" Kageyama stood up from the stool and quickly went upstairs to his room. He totally can't wait for the party to begin.
