Reese's POV:

I pack my bags and look at my now empty room, and smile for the first time since Riley left.

I am finally leaving. I have the chance for a new beginning.

"Reese! We're leaving!" Kian yells up the stairs.

I run down the stairs, my Dora The Explorer suitcase that Miss Frame got for me years ago bouncing down the stairs behind me.

"Ready," I say.

"Anyone you want to say goodbye to?" Kian whispers to me.

I sigh and turn to Miss Frame, a sad yet excited smile on my face.

"Bye, Mrs. Frame," I say, hugging her waist.

She wipes her eyes and reaches down to return the squeeze.

I pull away and turn back to Kian.

He holds out his big hand and I put my small one in his. He walks me out to the car and I walk alongside him.

He grins down at me and says. "By the way, my friends live with me—er, us. Is that okay?" he asks.

I nod and show him a closed grin, which makes his grin widen.

He buckles me up in the back seat and I hug him. "Thank you."

He hugs me back, warmly. "For you? Anything."

He gets in the drivers seat up front and drives away from here, from this evil place.

The ride was about 1 hour long and I fell asleep somewhat 20 minutes in.

I woke up to the shaking of Kian and him saying two words I never thought I would hear. "We're home."

I jump out of my already unbuckled seat and run up to the house letting Kian carry my bags.

I look back to see Kian on the ground.

"Kian!" I yell and he starts laughing.

"Sorry. Your bags are heavier than I expected!"

I giggle and Kian continues. "You're strong for being able to carry all this."

I shake my head and then and wait for him to catch up

He opens the door and I take my luggage. It's not THAT heavy.

Right when I get inside I am surprised. "KIAN!" Someone screams.

I whimper in fright and hide behind Kian as a boy runs downstairs with a green substance in his hair.

He looks older then Kian, yet shorter.

"Jc! Shut up!" He shouts at the boy.

"Is it a girl?" Jc asks, as he cant quite see me, and ignoring Kian's request.

"Is it a girl?!" Someone repeats in a scream from upstairs.

I hear what sounds like three dozen more footsteps and see MORE boys come downstairs.

"Yes, it's a girl, and her name is Reese." He says and looks at me, smiling.

"Reese Lawley," Kian says and my stomach drops in that good, tingly way.

I weakly smile back at him, still frightened by all the boys.

All of a sudden I hear a bark and see 2 puppies run downstairs.

I gasp and look up at Kian.

He nods to me and I run past him, toward the two dogs.

I kneel down until I'm in height with the puppies and they start licking my face.

"So cute," I coo, letting out a laugh.

"Yea, she likes dogs a lot," Kian says, letting out a short laugh.

I nod in agreement. "Reese," Kian says, in which I turn around. "This is Jc, and this is Ri–"

"We can introduce ourselves!" Says a third boy.

He is tall like Kian, but also a bit taller and buffer.

"I'm Ricky Dillon," He says

Another boy speaks up. "Sam Potorff."

Sam's cheeks are really rosie!

"Trevor Moran," another boy says.

He looks very young like 16 unlike my daddy and Ricky. However, I'm not judging.

"I'm Connor Franta," another boy with blondish brown hair says.

I nod and hold my own hand behind my back, trying to be proper.

"Nice to meet you all," I say, nervously.

They all look up at Kian and he just shrugs.

"I can show her to her room," Trevor offers, breaking the awkward silence.

"Okay," I say back as I follow him up the stairs.

Trevor pushes a door open and I gawk at the room.

This room is huge!

"This is all mine?" I ask.

"Yes it is... I'm jealous! Your room is bigger than mine back at home!" Trevor exclaims with a smile.

The door swings open again and Kian walks in. "Your bags, madam," he says bowing.

I giggle and curtsy. "Thank you, good sir."

He grins and walks out. "Call any of us if you need anything," he says before he leaves.

I nod and begin to unpack.

Could this be my permanent new home?
