shadow and bones,
the remains of your love
that kept me underneath the shore
I'm drowning, I'm sinking
please come and save me
but all i see is your shadow
slipping away
and here I lay,
taking in my last breaths
thinking how I was so damn naïve
how I trusted a shadow,
put my heart in an invisible man's hand
saw the good parts of you
left the bad ones away
now all that is left of me,
is my bones and your shadow
that still haunts me,
even in the afterlife.
