CHAPTER 19

TW: Guns, violence

Because it's just the two of us, Jeongin and I decided to go and hangout at the mall.

When we are walking, I suddenly thought about my plan with Seungmin, we will do it after a while. We need to wait for the 'go signal'.

I felt a hand on mine. I looked and saw Jeongin holding my hand. His hand was somehow sweaty but I don't care and I don't want to care about it as of now.

"Are you okay?" I asked, knowing that his hands were only getting sweaty whenever he's nervous or lowkey anxious.

He nodded in response. He smiled at me, his eyes formed mini crescents, and his dimples are also showing. He looks cut- I mean they're all cute!

We watched a tragic romance movie. When the female lead was begging the male lead to stay, and the man just removed her arms from his waist, it felt so real. It feels like I already felt that feeling of begging for that 'person' to stay but we just can't. 

That feeling of having the right person at the wrong time. 

That feeling of losing someone you treasured so much.

That feeling of letting him go, even if you know that it will hurt a lot.

I know that feeling. I felt that when I begged for that person to stay. That person who is right beside me now.

I was shocked when Jeongin held my cheek with his thumb, I didn't realize that tears are streaming down my cheeks.

He held my hand and let my head rest in his shoulder. I don't know but I just hugged him immediately, and sobbing while my head is buried on his chest.

"I-I'll just go to the restroom." I said when I already managed to calm myself.

I was retouching, about to go back to the cinema when Seungmin called me.

"SEUNGMIN WHY DID YOU LEFT ME ALONE HUH?" I yelled

"Yah! stop yelling at me, and I didn't left you alone, you are with Jeongin, remember?" He said teasingly as I heard him giggle.

"So, why did you call?"

"I just want to tell you that you will go and continue the plan, I'll do my part okay?"

"Oh yeah oppa!" I know he hates being called oppa, I just want to tease him.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY YURI?" He shouted through the phone, making me laugh at his response.

"I was just joking, anyways, gotta go now bro!" I ended the call. I didn't wait for him to answer because why not?  

It was already 1 pm. We are already back at the dorm, because we decided to eat here instead of ordering at restaurants there, it was weekend so it's already obvious that there are lots of people coming there.

I have only 2 hours left to prepare myself. After eating, I took my strength and tried to calm myself for a while.

"Yuri, Seungmin hyung told me you're going outside?" Jeongin smiled at me. I didn't realize that it was already 2 pm. I need to come early because the café is pretty far. Besides, it is weekend so heavy traffic is expected.

I nodded in response. I told him to take care of the dorm. I'm not yet sure if Seungmin already told them about the plan, but I know that he will.

It is already 2:50 pm when I came to the street near the café. When I was already outside the café,  Seungmin told me that they are almost here. I already prepared myself but it feels like my heart is going to burst. Every step makes my heart pound harder and faster. I sat at the chair near the window.

I then saw a man with black hoodie and mask. He's the same man that shot Chan before. He signaled me to come near him while he is holding a big, black tactical army bag. I went near him when I saw Seungmin and the other members together with Jeongin panting.

A group of policemen also entered the café when the man pulled me, pointing his gun at my head.

He was shouting to the policemen, telling me that if they come near us, he will pull the trigger.

The policeman signaled me to run from the man quickly so I did.

The police shot the man's right arm to drop his gun, and arrested him. I ran towards Jeongin and hugged him tightly, the tears that I keep from falling drop. I sob in his arms while he is patting my back.
