"Okay. Everyone in position?"
"Let's move out."
Numerous pro heroes flooded the building.
"Shit." Overhall growled. "Eri, Izuku, let's go."
They ran through the building, evading heroes at each corridor.
They were finally stopped by a couple of pros. Izuku was pretty sure one of them was Eraserhead. But that was the only one he knew. Another was a blonde teenager in a cape, accompanied by a tall man with glasses.
Izuku analyzed the situation, eyes scanning over each person. Then he saw Eraserhead activate his quirk. By the goggles, Izuku would guess that his quirk is stopped when he does something with his eyes, blinking being the obvious choice. And his second guess involved the nature of the quirk. Which he presumed was quirk cancellation since Overhaul didn't move into action.
Izuku took this as his chance. The first real chance of escape he'd had in about 10 years.
He pulled Eri towards him and pushed overhaul into the wall harshly before running towards the pro heroes.
He pushed Eri into the blonde boy's arms. "Keep her safe." He pleaded. "And can you keep his quirk cancelled a little while longer?" He said, attention now focused on Eraserhead. Eraserhead offered a small nod in response.
And then Izuku sprung into motion. He'd trained his quirk in secret. And his malnourished body was put through vigorous training when he acted poorly. He was worked so far past the peak of physical exhaustion it was painful. But the muscle building came in handy now.
He lifted Overhaul into the air, throwing him back and forth between each wall until he was unconscious. When he stopped, he was rather tired but ran back to them.
"Give me Eri." He said, picking up the girl who'd grown up with him. They were like siblings, and it broke Izuku's heart that she had to go through what he did. He offered a tentative smile, but it didn't work out too well because he hadn't had something to smile about in almost 10 years. So he opted for holding her hand, which she accepted.
The two pros and intern were left, confused to say the least. This kid had single handedly taken out his captor, minus the guy having no quirk because of Eraserhead.
"So kid, we're going to have to interview you back at the police station." Eraserhead stated.
"Okay." He replied calmly, still making sure Eri was fine. Or as fine as one could be.
"Hello. I'm detective Tsukauchi. This is an official interrogation involving the Overhaul case. We will know if you're lying, so please tell the truth. With that, we will begin the questions."
"Understood."
"First question, what's your name?"
"Izuku Midoryia."
The detectives eyes widened slightly but he continued.
"Do you know how long you've been captured?""Almost 10 years now."
"Do you remember what happened prior to your capture?"
"Vaguely. I think I was at a park with my-" He paused. "With my mom."
"Are you aware of the specifics of Overhaul's quirk?"
"I believe so. It was never described to me but I'm fairly good at quirk analysis. It also helps because he used his quirk on me numerous times. Basically, his quirk can disassemble anything he touches on a molecular level. He can also reassemble them, resulting in a versatile quirk. Oh, and it only works when he touches them with bare hands."
"I... see. What was the extent of the treatment you endured throughout your time there."
Izuku's eyes opened slightly.
"I'd rather not discuss that if it's an option sir."
"I understand. It's not necessary. Thank you for your time."
