Hi, my name is Avery. I am 13 years old and I have a younger brother, Owen. He is 7. I have no parents, but I am a parent to Owen. I love him dearly, words cannot describe. He is my everything, my life. We never speak about our Mum or Dad, we know what happened but don't know how. We knew them once, they were beautiful. Mum with brown hair, and a smile the shone and Dad, with a kind personality willing to give a helping hand to anyone. They were my world, my everything. As I said Dad was always willing to give a helping hand, maybe too willing. We lived in a small cottage house in Memphis (America). it was very small, but big enough for the 4 of us. We weren't rich but not poor either. We didn't have much to eat or drink. Mum and Dad had to work for most of that. Dad was a baker, but didn't earn much money. Mum was a local school teacher but not many kids came to the school because their parents could not afford it. We used to take those days for granted, not realising we were so lucky to have that kind of life. It wasn't the best, but most certainely not the worst. Dad, he was the kindest man I've ever known. I get tears in my eyes just thinking about his generosity and his loving heart. And Mum, well, she was such an inspiration to me. She loved to dance, more than anything. I remember, she used to take me to the park on rainy days and we would dance under the gazebo. When she was younger she would go in competitions to earn money for her family, but she earnt less money than it costed for her lessons. She had to give it up, she didn't want to but she knew what was best for her family. They were the 2 most kindest, loving people I knew. I wish they were here but it will never happen. Your probably wondering, 'How did they, you know, pass'? Well, I don't know, and never will. But what I do know is this...
