Bump, Set, Spike

When Volleyball season started I was so happy, volleyball for me was like the only thing to let me take my stress out and leave it in the court. It was also very fun for me to play with my friends, like Ali , Angel, and with my sister Karma. Ali and me would practice so much that I would know all of Ali's moves and she would know mine.

"Are you going to the game on Saturday?" I ask her while setting a ball for her. "Uhhh... Yass" "Okay, Question?" "Answer." "Do you think maybe Mason would want to come to our game?" "Ohhh Marcy, I said this before Mason is a player, you even say it for yourself." "Yeah but I thought that he actually had a connection early on the year." "Marcy, its okay to have a crush on Mason buy I just Dont want you to get hurt with him, okay?" "Okay, and Halloween is coming up, what are you planning to be...maybe we could match?" "Well I was planing to be a...Sexy Nerd!" "Umm...why?" "Cause then maybe Josh would notice how cute I look and maybe ask me to dance with him at the Halloween dance, what do you want to be?" "Maybe a baby, I have a onesie, its Christmasy so maybe I'll be a Christmas baby." "Awe that's cute." "Yeah." "Are you gonna ask Mason to dance with you?" "Nah, I think he has his date already." "Awww, its okay." Ali says while she hugs me "I'll be your date and you'll be mine :)" "yeah." I say giggling.

When practice was over me and Ali were gathering up our stuff and putting it in our Nike bags and started heading out of the gym. Ali go picked up early and Karma had to stay to do some service hours for graduation so I was waiting out side for my dad....Alone :( . Out of the corner of my eye I see a boy coming out from the gym too, with a girl and it turns out to be Mason with one of Karmas friends. I sit down on the bench and wait for my dad, and Mason walks over and sits next to me, maybe waiting for his mom.

"Hey, Marcy right?" "Yeah." "You're on the Volleyball team?" "Yeah, I'm division 7-3" "ohh your one of the better teams in the league." "I mean I guess you can say that." "So Halloween is coming up, what are you planing to be?" "Oh I Dont know, I still haven't decided if I should match with Ali or just be a loner this year." "You and Ali are really close huh?" "Yeah we've been together since 1st, she's like my younger sister " "That's cool." "Sure." "Well I was thinking since there's a Halloween Dance you might want to-" the conversation stopped when my dad honked the car horn and cut Mason off. "Um...thats my ride, nice talking to you Mason." "You too Marcy, maybe we can talk later?" "Sure :) " "Bye Mason"

When I got in to the car my dad was a little curious, "Who was that?" "He's an 8th grader that decided to talk to me." "Does that happen a lot?" "Nah, he's more like a friend." "Okay just making sure."
