Y/n Pov

Today started out normal, with me cleaning my house until getting a phone call from Kat. She said the group is going on a road trip to Vegas and asked for me to go. At first I was happy to but then remembered that means Colby does too. We've known each other for over three years and can't stand one another. I'm not exactly sure why he hates me because I've never done anything to him.

The only reason I dislike him is because he hates me. We never get along and we can't even be in the same room alone together without bickering. One time we got on everyone's nerves so bad that Sam asked us to stop fighting or leave. It makes me wonder why I get along with the whole group except him.

I just finished packing for this trip and set my bags next to the door. Sam texted me saying he'd be here in ten minutes to pick me up. Sam and Colby both rented an RV for the next few days so we would all fit in one vehicle. It's going to be quite the trip and other than the Colby thing, I'm excited.

The time had arrived for me to leave so I grabbed my stuff and left. The first twenty minutes of the drive went well until Colby started getting on my nerves. He's sitting on the couch next to me, invading my personal space. There's plenty of room for him to move over but he refuses. Sam is currently sat in the drivers seat rolling his eyes at our bickering.

"Colby just move your stupid leg." I groaned while trying to push his body away.

"Why don't you just move then?" He suggested sarcastically. This man is asking me to punch him in the face. As we argued everyone else just got annoyed and tried to ignore the constant fighting. Deciding that I've had enough I got up and went into the back where there's a bedroom.

Now that I'm alone I threw myself onto the bed and let out a sigh. He seriously gets on my nerves. A minute or so passed when I heard someone entering and looked to find my good friends Kat and Tara. They sat down next to me and gave me a small smile. "So?" Kat raised an eyebrow.

"What?" I frowned while sitting up and leaning my head against the window.

"We have an idea why Colby picks on you so much," Tara began and I nodded for her to continue. "He's obviously got a crush on you."

"Yeah so just talk to him." Kat added. I made fake puking noises and they laughed while hitting my arm. "Seriously y/n just give it a shot."

Sighing I nodded and waited until the next rest stop to ask him. That's when everyone will be going to the bathroom and I'll be alone with him. Ten minutes passed and Sam stopped at a gas station. Everyone went to use the bathroom or get snacks, which left Colby and I alone in the RV.

"Can we talk in private please?" I asked him. He looked around confused then back at me.

"We are in private." He answered sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and gave him a serious look. Without another word he stood and followed me into the bedroom where we sat down. They won't be long in there so that's why I asked him to talk in private. "What?" He asked as he plopped down on the bed.

"So we've hated each other since we met right?" I asked and he frowned. "Well Kat and Tara got it in their minds that it's because you like me...that's why you constantly pick fights with me."

"You start some of those too." He defended and I smirked. "What makes them think that?" He asked.

"I don't know; did you give them a reason to?"

It fell silent for a while as he stared at me. It's as if he's completely lost in thought right now. My heart started to race the longer he stayed quiet. Without saying a single word he cupped my cheek in his hand and pulled me into a rough kiss. It caught me off guard at first but eventually I kissed him back.

He seemed to like that I kissed him back because I could feel him slightly smile against my lips. After what felt like forever we pulled away and looked into each others eyes. Both of us breathless as we try collecting our thoughts. Moments passed and he spoke up. "I think they were right...I do like you."

"Really?" I asked and he nodded his head yes. "I like you too."

He smiled at my answer and pressed his lips to mine in one more passionate yet rough kiss. When pulling away he rested his forehead against mine. "For the record, I never hated you... I love you y/n." He smiled. That caused me to blush and grin widely.

"I love you too, Colby."

"Finally!" We hear everyone yell causing the two of us to laugh. I've got the greatest friends in the world.
