Weng set lunch for tired boys, they sat and waited for it "You two are last of Hikari bloodline, do you realize what does it mean?" Joshu sipped on green tea, looking beyond "Last hope." Kage knew this look, just like unlocking ancestors memories "Kage, are you aware of just wielding sword? How are you gonna fight?" younger boy looked determinated "I will slash and cut gracefully. Of course few cuts from enemy wouldn't be shame." Joshu hit him on top od head "You don't take it for real. We can die at this fight! Have you seen one of FrightSliders in your life?" Kage eyes torned gloomy "I just need to assure myself. You'd take care of puppet master." Weng knew where was this going, full blown argument starter soon after. 

Kage stayed in garden to have stamina training "I can take care of myself... I can kill changeling for him." Weng stayed in in case of sych stupid idea "Aren't this going to break contract?" Kage been thinking about it lately, it was loophole. Only Joshu was mentioned. He could prove everthing. "It's a loophole. I can." Weng was too old for this shit.

After school, Kage located child chengeling, easy prize. He cournered little boy, in defence it changed into cat demon. Weak and young. His parents looked for son everywhere, thier senses kicked in, but they we're too late. Thier little boy was decapitated, lower body of his cat form with barely sprouting spikes layed there motionless. 

Joshu had calm meditation day, until head of horned cat creature fell before him. Fright came over him, seeing smiling Kage with blood on hands and small blade "I told you." Joshu unleased reasoneble anger, but before he could scold brother, familiar mirror appeared. Arghoul sat in his throne, with two adult dragon-cats by him "Taking child's life? That's below expectations to use loophole. Keep on guard. Parents warth is last thing you will expirience. Now, give back head, and punishmant will be forgotten. If not? I'd find way to punish you Kage Hikari." Joshu trembeled while picking up little scared head, so much innocence in young changeling. Killed for nothing. He saw cats walking out of mirror, growling and hissing at them. They brought body to join head. Joshu felt like doing favor for hurt parents, he used some of untamed magic for bringing young one's soul back, transforming courpse into two pendants, for each parent "May your child be on your side forever. I will punish my brother." parents became humans again, walking into the mirror, mother smiled on thought of having child near her aching heart. Albrun witnessed good deed, but no doubts, reincarnated samurai was different in this body, more kind. "I want to see giving punishmant. Go on." 

Joshu apologized for what was about to happen, but it had to be done, until... "Or point out those who can die. Random quality." Kage pleaded to be let off traditional punishmant, but pointing people to die for his sins? No. "I'd serve justice instead of this revolting condition." and hit his younger brother with leather straps on bare back 100 times "Don't ever try to impress me by killing kids, or any other creature before time goes up on contract you little shit!" Arghoul could relate to Kage, he was punished for slight showing off powers same way. "So be it. Contract still stands." mirror disappeared into thin air. "Kage, I had to. For what you've done. I'll clear the wounds and heal you, so no one will aks what happen. But this memory will stay with you until the end. Along with blood on your hands and sacred blade." he procceds to heal brother and leaving to sleep after that.

Albrun Arghoul went into slumber to wait out emotional outrage. He destroyed too much furniture. But memories floded...

"I told you not to show off! Now take punishment with respect, no whining!" he might be my savior, but also abuser, Kind Emperor they say, Inpersonification of forgivness, savior of lonely child, great father around people, but strict and awful when out of sight "Punishhmant is over, go to your room, doctor will be there in few minutes, and you fell off balcony to rose bush." I had no concept of happy childhood, just lessons and self control...
