Faith's POV

I knew that this was going to be hard. Finding my one true enemy without knowing what he looks like. I've seen baby pictures, but no recent ones. Very disappointing. I've been looking for this mystery man for years.

I've been getting multiple tips lately, but none led to anything good. I'm getting ready to follow my last lead right now, in fact, just waiting for my dagger to be cleaned off by the maid. I'd been killing people left and right, waiting for the right blood to get on my dagger.

As I'm looking out on the world outside my bedroom window, I hear a knock at the door. "Come in," I yell. "I was just here to inform you that your father has requested to see you." I groan internally. "Be down in a second." With that I walk to the bathroom to look at my appearance before heading down. I take a look at my pitch black hair that was currently tied back into a ponytail and my golden brown eyes that were slightly highlighted by the dark circles around my eyes.

I walk down the unnecessary amount of stairs placed in the castle just to get down to my fathers throne. "What is it father?" I ask as I approach him. "Attitude," he said. I rolled my eyes as he continued, "I was just wondering how far you had come along to exterminating your enemy."

To be honest, I didn't really want to kill my enemy. He did nothing wrong to me. But the rivalry between our families is impeccable. Generations after generations, dead bodies piled on dead bodies, we've taken turns killing each other. I was next in line. My father had failed killing his enemy, solely based on the fact they went in hiding before we could exterminate their whole bloodline altogether. Now I just have to get rid of the last son of the Russo family and end this once and for all.

"I haven't gotten that far, to be honest with you father. All of the leads were dead ends, I just have one more to check out," I say, choosing the right words so he doesn't throw a fit like a baby. "Well, what are you standing here for then? Go, get this rivalry over with," he said in a rush. Do I tell him about my dagger? Nope. "I'm going father," I say, leaving the room.

No matter what, that man will always get what he wants. I head down to the kitchen to see if my dagger was ready. I just want to get this over with. I plan on following the last lead and it being a dead end, and I just get to come home.

"Hey, where's my dagger?" I ask when I see a worker. "Right there," she points to it sitting on the counter. I grab it and secure it in my waist strap. "Thanks," I say, walking down to the basement to grab an extra pistol, just in case. In reality, I could use anything that came in sight as a weapon, but I'm not really planning on finding much with this lead.

I jog to the garage, opening it up to find my baby. A sleek black Mercedes-Benz with tented windows. Perfect. I hop in and start it up, taking off almost immediately after I hear the engine purr.

Getting to the location, I noticed it was a smaller house. Kind of quiet and homey. Perfect for a hide out. I might just find something. Tucking the gun into my leather jacket, I walk up to the door and knock. After a few seconds, I watched as my fathers enemy answered the door.

"Can I help you?" he asked, looking around as if he was paranoid. Good, he should be, I smirked. "Yeah I was looking for Declan Russo or his parents by any chance. He and his family were chosen for a free inspection of your home by my department. Is there any chance that you are Mr. Russo?" I hope he's buying this crap story.

"Uh- yeah, I'm Declan's father. Declan and his mother are out right now but they'll be back in a bit, is there anything I can do to speed up the process?" He asked. "Yeah, I just need to get in and do an inspection of your home really quickly then we'll be good to go," I say. I almost feel regret when I see kindness in his eyes. Once he steps out of the way and shuts the door behind the both of us, I turn around while holding my dagger outwards, cutting all the way through his neck. I watch as both his head and body fall to the ground.

Oops, I think, with a sinister grin. I walk to where I assume the kitchen is and find a piece of paper and pen and start writing,

Dear Declan, I know you'll be home soon but I just wanted to let you know that this whole thing was an accident. I tripped, fell and beheaded your father. You have my condolences. Just know that it should have been you, but you weren't exactly available. Call me to reschedule. Your greatest enemy, Faith Marshall. P.S. here's my number ***-***-****.

I finish it off with a heart and a smiley face, leaving the paper by his fathers head. The war has just began, I think, as I walk out of the house and to my car to go back home.

How'd you like it? Is it weird or like all of that good stuff? I'm trying to add some humor to it to make sure that its not too boring or serious. I'm going to be switching point of views as often as each chapter so you guys know what the other is thinking about each of their encounters. I really think this one will be a good one. Well, peace out girl scouts.
