"Harry can I talk to you for a second?" Calum looks at the both of us and I look back at him. "In private," I say insistently. "Oh yeah sorry," Calum says as he leaves me and Harry in the dimly lit bedroom.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me you have a roommate?" I say with a hard expression on my face. I can feel the blood rushing to my cheeks in anger. "I know I should've told you, but I didn't want you to freak out and not want to stay here," he says while placing a loose strand of hair behind my ear."Are you mad at me?" he says trying to pull me closer to him but I resist. "Hell yeah I'm mad. I mean he was eavesdropping on us having sex for fuck's sake Harry."
A small smile appears on his cheeks and he snickers at the thought."It's not funny!" I say weakly punching his left arm. "You're so cute," he says grabbing me and holding me to his chest.
"Shut up," I say looking up at him. He kisses my forehead before looking back down at me. "I promise he will not be an issue. I'll have a talk with him," he says as he lets go of me before loosening the towel around his waist, letting it drop to the ground.
He walks over to the dresser before pulling out a pair of clean black boxer briefs and putting them on. He grabs a pair of black skinny jeans from the bottom drawer and a black t-shirt.
I take a seat on edge of the bed, still wrapped in the damp towel. "You're going to get my bed all wet babe. You've got to take that off," he says while putting on a black Rolex.
He walks over to me and takes a seat next to me on the bed, before wrapping his fingers around my towel and letting it fall. He throws it on the floor and his eyes observe my naked body.
His lips meet mine before parting. "You should probably put some clothes on," he says getting up from the bed and walking out of the room. I grab a high neck tank and a pair of shorts. Once I'm done changing, I walk out into the living room and see Calum sitting on the couch with a beer in his hand watching TV.
"Where's Harry?" I ask him. "He said something about this pizza place. I don't know, I wasn't really listening."
So not only did he not tell me he had a roommate, but he leaves me here with him. Great.
"So your Harry's girl?" he says before taking another sip of his drink. "Yeah," I say before taking a seat on the other sofa. "He talks about you a lot."
"All good things I hope," I say before crossing my legs. Calum laughs before looking over at me."He's lucky. You seem like a nice girl," he says, his big, brown eyes meeting with mine.
"Thank you," I say forcing a smile.
"Oh and sorry about eavesdropping on you two. I had no idea that you were here."
So not only did he not tell me about Calum, but Calum wasn't expecting me either. "So that makes two of us."
"Wait so he didn't tell you I was here either?" Calum says, pinching his bushy eyebrows together."Not at all."
"That's strange," I say looking over at the TV. Calum finishes off his bottle before popping open a new one. I gawk at the bottle in his hand. "What?" he says taking a sip from the freshly opened bottle.
I roll my eyes and rub the palm of my hand over my right knee, patiently waiting for Harry to come back. After about 15 minutes or so, Harry walks through the door carrying a large box, grease stains tinting the bottom. He walks into the kitchen and places the pizza on the counter.
"Babe do you want a slice," he says opening up the cabinet and taking out three plain white plates. "Of course I do honey," Calum says before bursting out in laughter, Harry joining him. "I was talking to Avery smart ass." Calum laughs before getting up from the couch to grab a few slices.
After we finish eating, Harry and I leave the building and spend the day out exploring the city. Tall, fancy looking buildings, people with business attire, and the sound of honking fill my senses. Harry's hand is wrapped around mine tightly as we cross the street. I can't take my eyes off of the breath taking city life.
My new home.
