It's been a month since my audition where I got a golden ticket and now I have to start packing my suitcase for hollywood week.

I doubt I'll have to pack much, I mean I'm probably not going to get very far anyways.

I packed a whole suitcase full of everything I needed before going to sleep. I have an early flight tomorrow to Los Angeles and I am extremely excited.

However, I'm also nervous because my mom has to work and she can't travel with me so I have to go alone. I don't know how I'll do without my biggest supporter.

The next morning, I woke up at 5:30 am and stuck my long blonde hair into a messy bun. I threw on some sweats and a sweatshirt before going downstairs to eat some cereal.

I poured myself a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats and pulled my phone out to check Twitter. I only have 400 followers. The couple vines I have posted of some covers haven't gotten much notice I guess.

I look up from my phone to see my mom walking down the stairs.

"Hey honey, are you ready to go?" my mom asked, yawning.

"Yeah, I guess. Let's put my bag in the car and go to the airport," I replied, getting up and placing my bowl into the sink.

We got in the car and listened to calming music on the way to the airport.

Neither of us knew exactly what to say so we didn't say anything at all. We arrived at the check-in area at the airport and my mom stopped the car at the drop-off.

We both got out of the car and I pulled my mom into a tight hug. I was going to miss her a lot.

I've never been away from her for more than a weekend which was in 5th grade at some dumb summer camp.

"I'm going to miss you so much but stay over in California for as long as you can. I believe in you and I know your voice is strong enough to win the whole competition. Just be yourself and sing your heart out. Don't forget to call me everyday and text me to keep me updated," my mom said with tears brimming her eyes.

"You know I'll keep you updated. I love you mom."

"I love you, too," she said before I let go of the hug and walked into the airport

so ik this is short but i haven't updated in forever and I'll try my best to update more often but I don't have much time to write with school and sports but anyways I hope you like it and here's my fan accs again:
