Holden didn't know what to think of his brothers deaths or the fact his father had killed them because one was in love with a vampire as the other was the reason for her capture. "Holden?"
Holden turned to see Stefan. "Stefan?" He responded confused. "How?"
"I'll explain, but first..." he bit his wrist and forced his blood down Holden's throat. Holden tried to fight back. Stefan pulled his wrist back. "Sorry, brother." He said before snapping Holden's neck.
"What have you done?" Stefan heard their father ask. "Stefan, answer me."
Stefan turned with veins on his face and red eyes. He attacked his father.

Holden gasped and looked around him. "What the hell?" He mumbled till he saw Damon and Stefan. "What did you do to me, Stefan?"
"I turned you."
"To what."
"We're vampires, brother." Damon replies. "You have two choices. To feed or to die."
"I rather die."
Stefan came back with a girl from their town and bit her. Holden looked at the blood as Stefan pulled away. "Holden, don't!" Damon said as he watched his brother drain the girl.
"Now we can be together." Stefan said as Holden looked at his twin.
Holden watched Damon leave as he looked at Stefan. "I need sometime to myself." He said as he left.

2009
Catherine smiled as she was walking to her car. "Hello." She heard and turned to see and handsome boy.
"Hi, I'm Catherine."
"Holden." He said. "Why are you out here by yourself?"
"Just getting my bag as I'm staying with my friend tonight.' She said.
Holden appeared in front of her. "You will forget I was here."
Catherine blinked and didn't see no one, but Elena. "Let's go."
Holden watched as the beautiful blonde left. He went to find Stefan. About an hour into his searching, he heard a crash and saw the car that held Catherine going into the water. Without a second thought, Holden dived in to see his brother. The two reached the car.
Holden broke the glass out to get to Catherine. Stefan grabbed the other girl as they went back up. Holden looked at the blonde in his arms before he swam back to shore and laid Catherine on the ground.
"Holden, we need to go." Stefan tells him.
"Okay." He said as he looked back at the blonde.
Hearing the sirens, Holden was gone along with Stefan.
