Chapter 1: Week 1; Thursday

The sun is shining brightly while Hiroshi is up early trying to finish up his homework, Mochi suddenly slams open the door, almost breaking the hinges again.
"Heeeyyy!! Hiroshiiiii! My head is better! I just got the bandages off this  morning~!!"
"That's great Mochi- I need to finish this homework-" Hiroshi says, seeming annoyed.
Mochi seemed confused, "Homework? You mean that paper stuff I just eat?"
"WHAT??" Hiroshi shrieks at Mochi.
Mochi starts laughing, "Ha! Gotcha! Your reactions are hilarious when it comes to the strangest things!"

"Get out of my room Mochi!! What the heck??" Hiroshi screams, seeming angry.
Mochi leaves the room.
"Hmph.. I might as well get to school today- it's been 2 days-" Hiroshi says in an annoyed tone.
After getting ready for school, he enters the kitchen and sits down at the table next to Mochi. Breakfast was sitting at the table, however Nayou was nowhere to be seen.
"Where's Nayou?" Mochi asks Hiroshi.
Hiroshi takes a bite of his breakfast, "I don't know? Maybe she's just cleaning the rooms- you have been here for about 3 days now-"
Mochi suddenly gets worried, "But- I was the first one awake- and- this breakfast wasn't on the table when I woke up- and Nayou wasn't in the kitchen, I even looked through all the rooms!"

"Maybe she was moving through the different rooms as you passed by each one?" Hiroshi says unconcerned, finishing up his breakfast, "Mochi, are you going to eat your breakfast?"
Mochi's face turns pale, "I-I'm not hungry anymore.. I'm too worried-"
"Mochi- you're worrying about nothing- this is just Nayou's way of saying that she's busy and doesn't want to be bothered, so she'll hide-" Hiroshi says to her as he gets his shoes on.
"M-Maybe you're right.. but.. I can't help but worry about-" Mochi stutters as she gets her own shoes on.
They both leave, and head off to school.
The door under the sink opens, Nayou was in there trying to fix the plumbing, "Gosh darn clogs! I shall defeat you!!"
While they were walking to school, they noticed immediately that they were being followed by the cat again.

Hiroshi turns around and tries kicking at the cat, "GET OUT OF HERE YOU STUPID SEONBUERD!!"
"I have a name you know-!" She hisses at him.
Mero suddenly walks out from the alleyway, running over to the cat and picking her up, hugging her.
"My name is Chai- I'm the-"
"I don't care what numbered Magical Girl you are! I don't hecking care- why can't you all just leave?? Won't everything be peaceful then??" Hiroshi interrupts.
Chair blankly stares at Hiroshi, "Ahem- as I was saying- I'm Chai, and I'm one of the Seonbuerd Protectors."
"Wait, what does that mean?" Mochi asks, seeming genuinely interested.

"It means- I'm one of the Seonbuerd's who protects other Seonbuerds!"
"Yeah! Chair is a really good protector! I just love her!!" Mero says as he hugs Chai. Chai meows.
"Wait, if you're a Magical Girl- how come you're in the form of a cat? Aren't you Magical Girls supposed to be in a human form with like- ears and a tail?" Hiroshi says as he stares at Mero's fluffy bunny ears poking out from his Pilot Helmet.
"Well my story is a little different-" Chai mumbles.
"I saved Chai from dying~!" Mero squeals as he tightly hugs Chai.
"As much as I'd loovveee to hear this story- we uh- need to go to school-" Hiroshi says as he grabs Mochi's hand and drags her off.
Mayonaka suddenly drops down in front of them, "Hey- we saved you from Warru- the least you can do is listen to our story and reasoning of why we're keeping watch on you two and your cousin-"

"What- are you stalkers now??" Hiroshi screams at them.
"Wait- do you know what happened with Nayou??" Mochi says filled with worry.
"Don't worry Mochi, Nayou is perfectly safe- she's just uh- 'defeating clogs' with the sink-" Chai calmly says to Mochi.
"Oh thank goodness-" Mochi says with relief.
"Now- this will take a while to explain to you guys- so we need you both to come with us-" Mayonaka says coldly, almost seeming as if she has no soul.
They take them into a dark alleyway. Mayonaka and Chai's eyes seemed to be glowing orange while Mero's eyes were glowing yellow.
"My name is Myonaka, as I'm sure you already know-" Mayonaka says, "This is Chai," Mayonaka points at the cat, "and this is Mero- Mero identifies as a boy, so please respect him or I will rip your throats out-" Mayonaka says as she gently pats Mero on the head.

"Understood!" Mochi says.
"I don't want to be here right now-" Hiroshi growls.
Mayonaka holds her Scythe to Hiroshi's neck, "I can just rip out your throat right now if you want-"
"No thanks- I like my throat to stay where it is-" He replies.
"Okay so- after Naiki went missing-" Mayonaka started to say before she was interrupted.
"Who's Naiki?" Hiroshi interrupts her.
Mayonaka growls, "She's the Original Seonbuerd... After she went missing- we've been losing Seonbuerd thanks to anger and how rude yo uhumans are to us- just because of how we look or act! We've lost almost half of our population because they've Korrupted and became Korruptions!"

"Wait- are Korruptions actually Seonbuerd?" Mochi asks her.
Chai meows, "Yes- when a Seonbuerd gets angry or upset- they Korrupt, and turn into the creature or animal they are- however, they become bigger than how the animal or creature would be, and they're usually hostile and dangerous- but we know they're still our family.. so it kind of hurts when humans wander the streets at night when they come out and we have to fight our family in order to keep you guys safe."
Chai sighs as Mayonaka continues.
"After Naiki went missing, it's been much harder- she has the ability to calm us down and hear our problems out, because our problems are too much for you humans to handle!" Mayonaka growls at them.

"I'm scared that you're going to turn into a Korruption right here and now-" Hiroshi says with concern, staring at Mayonaka.
"No- I just hold a grudge against you humans after that time-" Mayonaka scoffs at him.
"Heck- thanks to the Bulletin Board, we've been having more trouble keeping humans safe-" Mero sighs.
"Well- what's up with the Bulletin Board? What's going on with it exactly?" Mochi asks.
Mayonaka coughs, "Well- we think the Bulletin Board is a Korruption- a very powerful Korruption- but we don't know for sure and we don't know who it could be- so that's a problem"
"Hmm.. that's interesting.." Hiroshi says sarcastically.
"Hmm?" Chai stares at Hiroshi.

"Isn't it interesting how your precious 'Naiki' went missing very close to the time that the Bulletin Board came to be? Also- not to mention the fact you guys said that Magical Girls Korrupt into Korruptions and are very hostile- so I'm going to tell you this now- I think it's your 'precious' Magical Girl Naiki who Korrupted and became the Bulletin Board, especially since she's a creature that doesn't really exist-" Hiroshi says with high confidence.
There was silence for a good moment.
"Can I kill him?" Mayonaka asks, breaking the silence as her orange eyes lock on Hiroshi.
"Mayonaka clam down- we don't want anymore of us Korrupting-" Chai says with a firm voice.
"Listen kid- Naiki CAN'T be the Bulletin Board, she is incapable of getting mad or upset- nothing can break her-" Mero says to Hiroshi.

Hiroshi scoffs at Mero, "You're calling me a kid- when you look like you're a 9 year old-"
Mero looks away, flustered, "I'm older than you think... you jerk.." He whispers.
"We Seonbuerds have a longer life span than your humans- 20 human years is 1 Seonbuerd year for us-" Mayonaka explains.
The outside lights suddenly turn on.
"This isn't over- we're still going to talk about this another time-" Chai says to them.
"Get home now please- before any Korruptions come out-" Mero says before he jumps up 30 feet into the air.
Mayonaka jumps after Mero.
"I guess that explains why Mero wears the Pilot Helmet- because he jumps really high- he could accidently hit his head!" Mochi says.

Hiroshi growls, "I don't like how we're getting involved with this stupid Magical Girl stuff- I honestly just want a normal life-"
"Well, no one's life is normal Hiroshi- have you ever thought about that?" Mochi says wisely to him.
They quickly got home as it got darker. As soon as they got inside, they saw Nayou laying under the sink. She got up, soaking wet.
"I defeated the clog!!!!" She shrieks with joy.
Mochi claps while Hiroshi rolls his eyes.
