Jake walked down back to the wooden shack. He couldn't explain what he had saw, he couldn't explain how he felt. He lugged the water into the open room and placed it on the floor. He leaned on the wooden table and fell to the floor, that's when he heard the the hard heavy breaths of his fellow companions. Jake bounced tobhis feet, Sam was the first through the door.
"Hey" he smiled at him. "We managed to scrape some food, and sleeping stuff" he walked further in allowing Andy and Felix to get through too. "You okay dude? You look sort of...sick" Sam put the food on the wooden table and crossed his arms over his chest.
Jake pondered for a moment debating whether or not to tell them what he saw. "Ah, yeah I'm not feeling to great, I think it's from lack of food" Jake sighed.
"And from lack of your girlfriend" Sam added. Jake snapped his head in his direction eyes wide. Sam saw his reaction and put his hands up defensively. "Dude, I was joking" Jake relaxed, for a moment he thought he heard the conversation that happened between them. He didn't know why he decided not to tell them, he just didn't think the time was right.
"Who's hungry?" Andy walked over to the food, and started to divide it up. Felix smiled lightly and took a seat opposite Andy.
"For sure!" Jake tried to wipe the image of Emma from my mind, at least until he found the right time to tell the rest of them. Andy handed him a plate of dumplings. "Do I want to know what's in these?" He questioned.
"Ah..."
"Forget it, I'm to hungry to care" Jake shrugged his shoulders and dug into his food.
"So as I said we managed to grab some sleeping bags, we just need a place to set them up" Sam said with a mouthful of spring rolls.
"We can use those wooden doors and boards over there for support, put the sleeping bags on top"
"I like the way you think my man" Sam smiled. Jake wondered over to the lined up boards and started placing them down on the floor. Felix came and helped. After they were placed neatly Andy passed over the sleeping bags, Jake held up one with Bob the Builder with a confused face. Sam rolled his eyes at him. "I was six!" He snapped. Jake laughed loud.
"Have you guys thought about it?" Andy randomly asked.
"Thought about what?" Felix asked.
"How we got here, how we possibly could have got here" Andy passed the last sleeping bag.
"No, not really, I mean I'm really jist trying to focus on us getting out" Felix stated spreading the sleeping bag over a wooden door.
"What if us getting out is a lot easier then it seems, and what if Emma's already out waiting for us on the other side." Andy walked to the large open field. The other three followed him.
"Andy, what are you talking about? " Sam asked.
"What if we never left the forest, what if we're still unconscious!"
"Andy, your going crazy" Jake cocked an eyebrow.
"Yeah dude, enough with the theories, your being an idiot. " Sam commented.
"I'm being an idiot, don't you think it's weird that when we fell from that great height none of us were hurt" Andy explained.
"Ah yeah we were, Emma was unconscious" Jake crossed his arms over his chest.
"Maybe that was the beginning for Emma, and maybe she's out now waiting for us to wake up"
"Andy really?" Felix threw his hands in the air pathetically.
"How do you explain this?" Andy went off running into a nearby tree, he landed smack, bang in the head falling to the ground, he jumped up almost immediately. "Pretty conclusive evidence don't you think, I'm not even winded." Felix laughed.
"Alright Andy"
"Or maybe it has to be something that would really shock us." Andy was off running along the dirt path towards the main road.
"Where are you going you nutjob?"
"Somthing that will go at an impossible pace, like a train"
"But the train hasn't run in years" Sam stated.
"Or a bus, that'll do it" Andy started running again while the others gave each other worried glances before running after him. Andy ran until he came face to face with a road. A light fugure popped up.
"Andy don't do this!"
"Emma!?" He looked atbher with confusion. "Guys it's Emma!" He looked behind him only to see no one there.
"Andy, I'm serious don't!" She stood right in the middle of the road, and that's when he heard it the silent sound of the bus.
"Emma move out of the way!" Andy demanded.
"Not till you promise not to do anything stupid! " Emma snapped. The bus was edging closer.
"Emma!"
"Andy!"
"Emma!" The bus was so close that Andy ran in front of it, trying to push Emma away, but only succeeded in pushing away air as she faded away. Andy watched the bus crawl near him, and as he waited to die he grunted and closed his eyes as pain washed through him, his side screaming in pain. He opened his eyes to see that he was lying on soft grass with his rescuer on top of him.
"Ellen?"
