"Emma, what do you think you're doing?" My hand slipped off the handle as my body jumped from the shock of unexpected company.
It was Bates he was standing with his arms folded across his chest. "I...I was...I just-"
"it's after hours, I could report this to the police as a break in." Bates said.
"I just needed something from the room." I said, I new this was a stupid idea, and what a lame excuse.
"I'm sorry Emma, but the police are going to have to be involved-" a loud banging on the door interrupted him. I shut my eyes and shook my head. What idiots. "Is there somebody else here with with you?"
"What?" I looked uto at him, "no, it was just my foot banging on the door" I said. Great, another lame excuse.
Bates frowned and gently pushed me aside. He tried the door first, and finding it locked he shovelled through his pocket to find the key. He gook it out of his pocket and I heard the click of the door being unlocked.
"Em-" Sam emerged from the room, but froze as he was about to walk into Bates. "And Mr. Bates" Sam looked past the teacher and at me with a confusing look.
Sam stepped aside as Jake, Andy, Felix, Mia and Ellen all stepped out. Mr Bates had never looked so shocked. "Does somebody want to explain to me why you're all locked in that room?"
Everyone was silent, until a familiar voice spoke up. "Sorry sir, that would be my doing. " Oscar stood at the end of thrt hallway, his robotic voice sweeping clearly through our ears.
"Oscar? You too?" Bates looked at him with disappointment. Oscar just walked forward slowly keeping his gleamy eyes on me.
"How did you find me here?" I demanded.
"It wasn't very hard." He answered back coldly.
"Let's go!" Jake shouted pulling my arm backwards.
"Hey!" Bates shouted at us as we sprinted around a corner. "Get back here!"
We kept running until we were out of the school, into the woods and out of breath. "What happened to you?" Andy asked.
"Pheobe betrayed us." I said. "They werr taking me somewhere, when I escaped."
"How did tou know where to find us?" Sam asked.
"Just a hunch" I answered.
"Will somebody please tell me, what the HELL is going on!?" Ellen shouted. As she came to a stop wirh the rest of us.
"Yeah." Mia agreed. "You can start by telling us how you found us."
"It was just a hunch" I said, looking at the ground.
"A hunch?" Ellen looked angry.
"We should keep moving, head into the woods." I said. "Oscar's smart, he'll be on our trail."
"The woods?" And you questioned, "why there?"
"Just trust me" I told them taking the lead.
The person said to go to the woods and to an alter where we would be able to get back home. The only problem is, I have no idea where the alter would be.
"Why are we in the woods?" Jake asked as he came up behind me.
"Bates can't find us here" I answered.
"Oscar can." Jake said.
"Oscar can find us anywhere." I replied.
"Exactly, so why are we in the woods?" He asked again.
I whipped my head behind my shoulder to see if any of the others we listening. "When Pheobe and Oscar took me, I had some sort of vision."
"Vision?" He raised an eyebrow and a small smile played on his lips.
"Yes" I said. "A vision."
"And what was in this vision?"
"A person, they told me what was happening. What I had to do." I said. "They told me about you guys at the school and they said that we had to find some alter in the woods to get back home."
"And you believe this person who sent you a vision?" I could hear the amusement in Jake's voice.
"Well it led me to you." I said. "So yeah, plus I know them."
Jake suddenly snapped back into the conversation. "Who is it?"
I looked at him, debating with myself whether or not to tell him. "It's not important." I said finally. "We just need to find the alter."
"What are you guys whispering about up there?" Felix shouted.
"Emma's just telling me about how she found us." Jake shouted back. I shot a look at Jake. Felix, Andy and Sam jogged to listen in in the conversation.
"What's going on?" Sam asked.
"Emma said that when she was taken by Pheobe she got sent a vision by some person she knows." Jake explained.
"Visions of what?" Andy asked.
"Who's the person you know?" Sam asked.
"How do you know they're trust worthy?"
I turned around and put up a hand to shut them up. "They told me about you guys in the school, and about there being an alter in the woods. Who the person is, is not important but I know for a fact that they a trustworthy."
"Did you say an alter?" Felix asked.
"Yeah, I just don't know where to find it." I admitted.
"So you're leading us around aimlessly through the woods?"
"Yeah?" I shrugged.
"What's this about visions and alters?" Ellen asked as her and Mia pushed their way through our little circle.
We all fell silent as no one new what to say. "You want the truth?" Andy raised an eyebrow.
"Nothing but the truth." Mia replied.

"Do you believe us?" Sam asked as the five of us told our story.
"I'm not sure yet." Mia looked down at the ground with her arms folded across her chest.
"Well you have plenty of time to think about it while we keep moving." I said as I turned to keep walking, but as I did my foot caught on something and I fell to the ground.
I twisted my body around so that I was on all fours and crawled over to the object I tripped on. There was something metal beneath the dirt and leaves. I brushed it aside and in front of me sat a diamond shaped metal something, and planted on it were four symbols, in the middle was a carved out sphere shape.
"What is it?" San asked leaning over me.
Felix came and knelt beside me, "I think it's the alter Emma's been looking for." Felix said.
"But these symbols what are they?" I asked him.
"Water, fire, earth and air." Felix said.
"Which mean?" I pressed.
"Magic."
