I'm impatiently waiting for this meeting to come to an end, but considering it started ten minutes ago, I doubt I'll be getting out of this uncomfortable chair soon. All information my men are giving me, is dissapearing into thin air. Its a little over twelve am, I'm wearing the most uncomfortable suit I've ever worn and my mind is too clouded with thoughts of Avery in that white dress and fake wings to pay any attention to what's being said around me.
My girl has been talking about a Halloween party, she's currently at, for the past week. She told me all about her, Summer and Ethan's plans of getting matching costumes.
When she got ready at my place earlier, she didn't wear the original dress, which I didn't get a chance of seeing. She herself told me it made her uncomfortable though, so she left it at Summer's and packed a flowy, summer-dress instead. It was short, but she convinced me by saying she didn't have anything else.
She looked like a literal angel. Her naturally straight, hair was pushed back by the halo headband she was wearing. It fell down her back in an amazing way, and I just wanted to tug at the glowing strands. The necklace-she yet has to realise has Aiden carved into the back of the A-around her neck added a shine to her skin.
I feel my pants getting tighter around my croch, just thinking about the picture she later on sent to me. Her darkly outlined eyes, the radiant green colour of her orbs and the crimson lipstick she had on make me create dirty scenarios in my head, where the two of us are the protagonists. I almsit groan.
The jealous side of me is suddenly hitting its top button when I think about all the guys surrounding her at the moment. My eyes are the only ones that are allowed to look at her in the way, I imagine-no know-all the guys are looking at her at.
"Boss?" Joey's voice brings me back to reality. I shake my head and look around the table to see all of my men looking at me with concern. "Yes?" I reply.
"What do you think?" He asks. Luckily, the knock on the door, saves me and takes all the unwanted attention from me.
"Yes?" My voice is hard and demanding. The door opens a little, revealing my assistant. A lady in her late fifties, dressed in a long skirt and white blouse.
"Mr. De Rossi, I have someone on the phone for you." She politely says.
"Who?"
"Mrs. Smith, she said it is an emergency." Mrs. Greco, my assistant says, her already wrinkled forehead wrinkles more, telling me she herself is worried about what Summer's emergency might be. My heart instantly beats faster at her words and my body sets on high alert.
"The meeting is over. We'll have another one tomorrow." I tell my men and after a series of 'yes boss', they all leave. Joey pats my back sympathetically before following the others.
"Summer?" I ask into the phone, clutching it tightly between my fingers.
"Aiden!?" She shouts over the booming music in the background. "Thank god you answered! Can you pl-" I cut her off.
