Hi this chapter is just backstory that Kaz knows that Y/n doesn't this will also explain why Kaz is so afraid that someone or something will hurt Y/n also this won't be his cannon backstory.

Kid Kaz pov

Ever since I could remember Y/n has had people come to see her tall men and women in white coats Y/n hates seeing them.

They come whenever they want, with sharp needles and paper sometimes they'd stay all night. "Has your...'Sister' ever hurt you not on purpose just like playing tag and she push you a little too hard?" One of the women ask me kneeling down to my level. I didn't answer them she hasn't but I didn't want to say anything that would get me in trouble or hurt Y/n.

Mom and dad looked happy. "He's mute he can't help you with this." They told the stranger. She looks back at me. "*sigh* ok." She whispered standing up in her normal position writing something down.

We were only 3 I didn't know what was happening.

Time skip

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Mom and dad yell running into mine and Y/ns room with icecream and pancakes. Y/n seems happy I was too. But she seemed like she didn't expect it to be her birthday.

It was half way though our birthday we were at a cafè drinking I'm laughing at Y/n for drinking her hot chocolate to fast burning her tongue. That's when I see the woman again it shouldn't be different from the other times they've seen her for 10 years everyday. Today was different though she was talking to mom and dad about something and they look scared and sad at the same time. After the lady went away we went home Y/n still being really happy about our birthday mom and dad tried to be happy about it too but failing.

Time skip

I was asleep when mom wakes me up and taking me out of the room. She wipes off a tear and hand me two tickets. "Kaz your sister is... Really Really special." We start walking to the kitchen. "Yeah I know-" Her face snaps facing me. "-She's the best!" That makes her face relax a little bit. "Yes she is...That's why you need to fly away and make sure no one like the doctors...The people that come to see Y/n never get to her." I stop in the middle of the hallway and look up to her confused. "Oh right!" She speed walks into the kitchen and I slowly follow her she's putting a piece of paper inside of an envelope and sealing it. "When you get to far away from this house I want you to read this it'll tell you everything you need to know." I nod in Agreement.

I get to my room and wake up Y/n she's half asleep so she helps pack her things and we leave the house.

Time skip back to now

Kaz pov

I set down staring at the envelope remembering that day we left and never came back the plan is to never go back ever in our lives I never opened it back then I was to scared of what it might say it was supposed to explain why the doctor's came to the house every day why Y/n had to take those shots what they even were I grab it off the table finally ready for what it might be.

I regret reading it I'm happy they wanted us to leave when they did Y/n is my twin sister but only by mother. Mom and dad already wanted to have children but didn't have enough money to take care of one so they volunteered for science tests they get both a baby and money out of it they told my parents that Y/n would be lucky if she made it to 10 due to the fact the other ones they did tests on dyed before or at the age of 10. The shots Y/n got even ever the doctors were there were poisons that could kill a human being in under an hour. On our birthday the tests were done no matter who lived or dyed. In the end all of them die they let Y/n go a day late then they were told to..."They were supposed to kill her on her own birthday?!" I say not caring how lound I was because she was with Gundam right now. What I've been doing it right I've been keeping her safe from people. She'll be safe with Gundam I know that for sure.

Knowing this our childhood makes sense now....

I hear the door slowly open from the front room. "Y/N-"
