"Hi there! Welcome to Greenway!"
Greenway? Seriously? Stupidest school name I've ever heard of.
I look at the headmaster, who just smiles at me as I say, "Thanks Sir".
I walk down the corridor, looking at my timetable, first lesson: Maths.
I carry on walking forward, still looking at the paper, trying to work out where Maths is.
"Ohhphf", I mumble, before looking up to see who I'd bumped into, "Sorry".
"My fault, sorry", he says, before turning back and walking away.
"Wait!", I say.
"You don't happen to know where Maths is, do you?", I ask.
"Um, yeah... You new here?"
"Yup.", I say, popping the p.
"Let's see your timetable then...", he says uncertainty.
He starts looking through it, and I get to take a moment to check out his appearance. His ebony, black hair is parted in a side fringe, a little covering his glistening, blue eyes. He is wearing a long sleeved shirt, black skinny jeans and a pair of black converse, identical to mine.
"You have similar classes to me.", he says, snapping me out of my trance.
"Maths is this way.."
"So what's your name?", I ask.
"Phil Lester...", he says back, looking down at his shoes.
"I'm Dan. Dan Howell."
