Dear Diary,

Due to what went down at my last school, my mother and father have decided to send me to Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I have never seen them care so much until the incident, I didn't know they cared until it happened. I have only heard great things about the school and their wonderful Headmaster, Professor Dumbledore. i also heard that they have special hat that places you into one of the four house, Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. My parents want me to be in Slytherin since most of my childhood friends that go to Hogwarts like Pansy, Draco and Blaise are all in Slytherin and the entire of the Moonshine Clan were in Slytherin with only a few being in Ravenclaw. Anyway diary I should go and get ready since i have a train to catch tomorrow and I have got a lot to do.

The next day...

Today is my first day at Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and I am so nervous as I have to make a good impression on everyone. I am sure everyone there knows what my name is and who exactly I am but I surely don't know their names or anything about them but that's how things are when your family is the Moonshine Family. Our bloodline was as pure as it could be and we have been swimming in riches for almost centuries and had a lot of fame in Wizarding World. Many people may look at me and praise my family however they don't what secrets lie beneath the surface.

I am swarmed in nerves today due to the fact i was joining classmates who have been together for years and that I could end up being an outcast again and I don't want that to happen again. I then realised that I should check if I had everything packed. I quickly rummaged through my 5 suitcases and checked if my uniform and outfits were there. I was ready to go however my parents weren't home to take me to my first day but when were they ever home to begin with. Instead of being taken by my oh-so loving parents instead John, the family driver and Mary, the housekeeper were taking me instead. They were the only two people I was closest to in the whole of the Moonshine Manor. I ran down the stairs with the last two of my bags John was putting my bags in the back and Mary was frantically pacing while stood near the open door. I put down the two bags and hugged Mary to calm her worries. She then pulled away from the hug and I asked her "Mary why are you so nervous today"

She held my face in her hands and replied and said "It's like seeing my own child grow up and I honestly hope everything and everyone at Hogwarts treats you nicely"

I chuckled and said to Mary, "Don't worry about me Mary, I am smart enough to look after myself and we are going to be late if we don't leave now. You don't want me to be late on my first day do you?"

John then screamed out and said, "Can you two just hurry up and stop crying"

Both me and Mary laughed and carried out the two bags loading them into the car. We all got into the car and drove to King Cross Station as fast as we could. We had set off late and we had 3 minutes to make it to the train. We all ran trying to make it to the mysterious Platform 9 3/4. We managed to make it to a midway between Platform 9 and Platform 10. We had gotten near a wall and had approached a family with 4 boys and a small girl. They all had beautiful fiery red hair and I asked the mother while out of breath "Excuse me Madam, how do I get to Platform 9 3/4".

She smiled at me and said "Just run through the wall Dear and make sure to have your ticket"

I smile back and said "Thank you"

She then asked me, "What year are you in dear, I have never seen you before".

I say, "I am a new student and I am joining the 3rd year".

She smiled and asked her son Ron if he could keep me company on the train and he agreed. We all finally got onto the platform and then gave both Mary and John hugs before entering the train with Ron and his 2 classmates. We sat in a small compartment on the train and while the train pulled out I saw Mary and John both waving with tears streaming down their face and I waved back trying not to cry. I was now one step closer to getting to my new school.
