At this moment Andy's anger started to boil up. She was so close to say something she would probably regret later but instead she stormed from cat walk and slammed the door on the way out.
Robert remain to rest his hands on the catwalk like before. Thinking about what just happened.
- He hates me. He really hates me. Andy said as she sat down.
Vic and Maya heard her and sat next to her to see what happened.
- I was saying all those awful things in Spanish today and he speaks Spanish.
Vic and Maya exchanged confusing looks with each other.
- He said, Andy started to imitate him, you're lieutenant Andrea Herrera that's it. Ugh he is the worst. The worst I'm telling you. She got up to get some water.
Robert on the other side went back to his office and slammed the door too. Ripley was sitting in his office and got surprised seeing Robert's behvior.
- I'm here for our 6 months checkup but if you're not up to it I can come tomorrow.
Robert didn't hear a single word Ripley said, instead he started talking.
- I can't function like this anymore. Every time I start conversation with her it ends up yelling. I can't help myself. Looking into her eyes I just want to grab her and kiss her and never let her go. But instead I'm an asshole who yells at her almost every day, who... who. If I'm not yelling I'm saying this to degrade her. And to hurt her. Robert puts his head into his hands.
Ripley didn't say a word. He kept sitting in his chair, scared to move. He knows his friend but this, this was new even to him.
- From the first moment I saw her I felt something. Something I never felt before, not even with Claire. Her energy, her passion and love for the job and her commitment... Robert leaned back in the chair.
It's been six moths since I'm here and there wasn't a shift without a normal conversation between us.
Ripley chuckled.
- That my friend is love. You are so in love that its scares you and you lost yourself around her and being an asshole to her is your coping mechanism. Come clean before is too late. That's my advice, not that you asked for it. Ripley winked and left.
Andy in the other hand was frustrated, angry and she just wanted to scream. To punch something or better say someone. She left beanery and headed to her bunk.
After Ripley left Sullivan got out to clear his head but since Andy couldn't sleep she headed out too.
Not watching where she was going they bumped into each other. Both letting out a sign of scariness but at the same time both felt electricity going through their bodies. Andy moved a little bit from him but neither one of them didn't actually left. They just kept staring at each other. Reading each other minds.
- I'm... I'm gonna go! Andy whispered and headed back where she was coming from.
Robert didn't say anything he justed turned and went to his bunk.
Half of the night they couldn't sleep, they kept fidgeting and thinking about all the stuff that was boiling inside of them.
Earlier that shift
- Herrera my office now! Sullivan shouted as he got out of engine.
He was so pissed. She messed up. They lost precious time because she disobeyed direct order from her captain. As stubborn as she is Andy needed to admit that she was wrong. That is going to be as hard as hell but she promised to herself she will admit her mistake to her captain.
