INT: WOODS – NIGHT.

"You have to eat something Olivia, you can't go on like this forever." Ethan pleaded.

Olivia's POV.
It's been few days now since we have been in the woods; I can't actually remember since I spent that few days weeping and thinking over my misfortunes.

I haven't eaten, I hardly sleep or wash myself, life seem miserable for me now; maybe it could have been better if I was human.

I felt weak, my body aches, I felt really sick and dizzy.

Ethan tried to make me feel better always, but his effort seem futile; More like I sworn literally to make the rest of his life hell.

I glance at him; the glow in his eyes seem to get brighter with each night that passes.

"I'm not hungry." I managed to say, my throat feeling sore.

Ethan sighed. "You'll fall sick Olivia." He said sternly.

"I'm fine." I lied, not as if I care to eat.

"What is this?" I asked on a second thought referring to the food.

Ethan grins. "A hare."

Although sad, his smile coupled with the glow in his eyes made the butterflies in my belly flutter. I wonder why he had so much effect on me.

I so much wanted to hate him for making my grandfather die but it seemed impossible; I found no reason to hate or blame him. It turned out I was looking for someone to pass my blame and frustration on and Ethan turned out to be the the victim. Ow poor Ethan.

"How were you able to get a hare?" I asked curiously.

"Like a wolf would get it's prey. I used my instincts." He said.

I frowned. "You are not an animal Ethan. Stop behaving like one." I said.

He chuckled then perked me on my cheek. "I can be anything for you. Can't I?" He teased.

"Stop flattering." I snapped.

"No, I'm not." He defended.

He wasn't flattering at all. His heartbeat was as slow and steady as always; something he taught me to do.

Maybe I should leave the past behind and learn to appreciate this adorable man before me. I thought.

Not!

"I would rather be a vegan." I snapped.

He raised his brow. "There are no edible veggies in the woods." He said.

"I haven't said I was going to eat anything." I said bluntly.

Ethan's POV.
Olivia wasn't making it any easy for him. She looked pale, slender, red patches on her eyes. It won't be long before she fall ill.

She was frustrating him now; each thing he does always seem like a futile attempt to make her happy. At least he was happy now that she agreed to talk to him but she doesn't seem to be getting better.

"I can't let you go on like this." Ethan said.

"What are you going to do? Force the food down my throat?" I said rather too rude.

He sighed. "I would, if I could do it without hurting you."

I frowned deeply. "Why are you doing this." I asked.
