𝑱𝒖𝒍 𝟏𝟗, 𝟏𝟎:𝟒𝟎𝒂𝒎

  You opened your eyes and sat up on your bed admiring your new room before you stretched and grabbed your phone to check the time, it was 10am. You sent a short text to your mom telling her you got there safely and that Marcus' apartment was really nice.You then went to the bathroom to shower.

When you got out you picked an outfit then put the rest of your clothes and shoes in your closet. You admired yourself in the mirror before leaving your room.

You walked in the kitchen and saw Marcus eating cereal while scrolling on his phone. You tiptoed towards him and hugged him from the back "Good morning bestie !" you shouted in his hears "Y/N imma need you to take your crusty dusty negro hands off of him." he said putting down his phone. You backed away with your arms in the air "Damn, okay".

He turned his head around and looked you up and down "That outfit cute and it's perfect for where we going" he got up and smiled at you    "And where are we going ?" you raised and eyebrow at the boy "I got us a job at a café !" he smiled with his arms in the air like it was some big announcement. You stood there waiting for him to say sike because there was no way he was being serious, but after a moment you realized that he was very much serious.

"Why the hell would i work when its summer vacation" you furrowed your eyebrows "What else you gonna do ? You don't know nobody here and I know you not gonna go out to visit. Come on it will be fun and we're gonna get paid" he walked up to you and grabbed your hands before giving you puppy dog eyes "Fine, but if a customer or one of the lil workers get's on my nerves i'm out of there" you pointed at him "I'm doing the exact same" Marcus replied "Ight let's go" he said before grabbing your hand and dragging you to the door.

𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒑~

You both stepped in a small store,the café was called 'Espresso NYC' there was a chill and nice vibe inside and the sound of coffee being poured was relaxing. You looked around and there were only people on their laptops with a cup of coffee besides them.

"You must be Marcus and Y/N ?" a tall guy with black hair and tattoos pointed a the two of you and you raised your eyebrows at how attractive he was "Yeah that's us" Marcus raised his hand as he confirmed. The guy gestured for you to come behind the counter "So my name is Kev, I work as the cashier and-" he stopped and looked around for a second "that girl over there is Mercedes and she's the waitress" he pointed at a girl with blond faux locks.

When you turned your head to look at the waitress she was walking towards you looking like she wanted to kill you. She stopped right in front of you and suddenly hit you with the brightest smile you had ever seen "Hi, my name is Mercedes !" she gave you and Marcus a small wave "hey..." you were a bit surprised at how sweet and nice she sounded. Plus, she was mad pretty.

"Anyways,here y'all aprons" he handed you each a black apron with 'Espresso NYC' written on it in white "Y'all can either start right now or tomorrow" Kev said while scratching the back of his head. You and Marcus looked at each other then back at Kev "Tomorrow" you both said smiling and Kev just shrugged "Alright, see ya" he went back to his cashier work and you waved goodbye to Mercedes.

"That boy is cute~" you said to Marcus hopping in his black jeep wrangler "I call dibs" Marcus raised his hand hitting the car cieling
"Please" you jokingly rolled your eyes.
