Lily Owens sat in the living room of her suite in between Aisha and Musa as Terra told them about her encounter with her father. "He lied to my face." Terra stated, still not able to believe it herself. "Why are they all lying to us?" She questioned her friends.
Aisha looked down at her hands, shrugging. "Maybe they had to. Queen Luna's..." The water fairy made eye contact with Lily. "She seems kind of big on secrets. Whatever's going on, I'm sure they think what they're doing is right."
Musa rolled her eyes. "They always do."
"Then say, 'Terra, I can't tell you.' Don't lie to me." Terra complained. Her family had always been very careful about not keeping secrets from each other.
After Aisha stood up from the couch, she began to pace. "So, he made Miss Dowling something with Vessel Stones, right?" Lily nodded her head. "And the point of Vessel Stones is to read magic, which is what they were doing at the assembly. So, dead body, worried adults." The girl concluded, causing Lily to furrow her eyebrows, not following.
"What if they think a fairy killed Callum?" Musa added.
Aisha nodded, turning towards Terra. "A fairy at that assembly."
Lily sat straighter in her seat, finally beginning to understand. "They were on edge after, so they clearly didn't find them."
As soon as Lily finished talking, the doors to the suite opened, and Sky entered, looking around. "Guys, is Bloom here?" He questioned the girls, obviously nervous.
Aisha crossed her arms over her chest as the other girls stood up. "Did Silva tell you what was happening today? He must have."
Sky's expression dropped, not understanding her. "Is this the suite drama Bloom was talking about?"
Lily let out a giggle. "It's a good thing you're cute, because you don't catch on quick." She patted his shoulder softly.
"There is no suite drama." Musa explained.
Sky, who was a little hurt by Lily's statement, began to scratch the back of his neck. "Okay, I'm so lost right now."
"Dowling's assistant died, and the faculty think a fairy did it." Terra began. "So they held the assembly to find out which fairy, but they didn't because clearly he or she wasn't there, so now we don't believe or trust literally anyone." Lily's eyes widened as Terra said all of that in almost one breath.
The blonde stared blankly at the four fairies in front of him before the realization hit him. "Shit." He gasped. "Beatrix."
Lily opened her mouth slightly. She had always thought something was up with that girl, but she pushed it aside, assuming it was simply jealousy. Sky grabbed onto the flower fairy, and the two rushed back towards his dorm. "Why are you bringing me?" Lily groaned as she followed Sky.
