There are three rules a person should never break when staying home alone, and tonight, you broke all of them.

Rule 1: don't watch a scary movie.
Rule 2: don't forget there's a pet in another room.
Rule 3: don't ask your worst enemy to help you out.

You walked into the kitchen and looked in the fridge to find something for dinner.

'Nothing already made... I guess I'm cooking.'

You pulled out some ingredients and made soba, then sat down to watch a movie.

'Hmm.. I'm gonna watch a scary movie!'

[time skip//hour and a half]

'That was... terrifying, and amazing, I loved it but now I'm anxious....'

*thud*

'What was that.....'

*thud*

Something is banging on the door to the basement...

*thud*

'Oh god oh god what do I do?!'

'Kuroo gave me his number... dammit I think I'd prefer being murdered to calling that jerk...'

*thud*

'YEAH OK IM CALLING HIM!'

You ran into your front yard, hands shaking, trying to type kuroo's number.

'Please answer, please answer, please answer...'

"Tetsurou Kuroo here, how can I help you?"

"K-kuroo.."

"Chibi Chan~? Didn't think you'd actually call, it's only been an hour, miss me that much?"

"Help...." your voice was shaky

"Wait what happened?" He sounded concerned now

"Someone's in my house..."

Kuroo hung up

'Is he really ignoring me?! Does he think I'm overreacting or something? What the hell?!'

You stayed outside of your house for a while trying to figure out what to do, before hearing steps coming towards you.
You turned around, to see kuroo running down the street.

"Y/n! You're okay right?"

"y-yeah I'm fine but... there's something in the basement..."

"You're shaking..."

"I-I'm fine kuroo..."

"Ok... stay here.." he started to walk into your house.

'Maybe he isn't such a dick... I mean he was worried about me... and he came to help...'

"Y/N ARE YOU A COMPLETE MORON?!"

'And jerk kuroo is back...'

You looked up at the door to see kuroo, holding your cat.

"Jack?!"

"He was in the basement, jumping around, trying to get a moth."

Your eyes widened a bit, a light blush spreading across your face.
