fading

I have tried to make
everyone happy but
instead the world
crumbled into my
hand when i chose it
for myself.

It doesn't require much
for me to love you, i chose
that decision on my own. all that i keep,
i keep it for you.

Leading takes skill, proving to
someone you are the leader is
a task. understand your place, there is always going to be someone smarter and prettier. just not me.

I want to be happy so bad,
but every-time i try
i end up being selfish.
