exquisitely beautiful
it finally hit two thirty pm and shinso and yui were off their shift. they hung up their aprons and started heading towards their agencies.
shinso and yui first met at cafe de verre since they both worked the same hours and were both part timers. they then found out their agencies were right next to each other and became close ever since.
they always walked together after work to their agencies and sometimes met up after to hang out. since their agencies were right next to each other they often worked together too.
today they were patrolling together with another senior trainee from best jeanist's agency. best jeanist's agency was 5 or so blocks south of their agencies.
they both reached they're agencies and split. shinso going to purple revolution agency and yui going into endeavor's loomingly tall agency.
she entered, saying hello to the receptionist named pam and made her way to her small office which also had a small bathroom. she set down her things and went to put on her suit in her bathroom for patrolling.
her hero suit was simple. it is a full body suit though in the summer it had short sleeves and shorts and in the winter it was long-sleeved with a mock neck and regular pants. she wore fingerless gloves with it and thigh high heeled boots. it also could withstand very cold temperatures, which was great for her quirk and had a button on her gloves' palm that released moisture into her skin for her second quirk.
yui had two quirks like shoto which was one of the reasons endeavor originally wanted her at his agency after she graduated from shiketsu. she was one of the top ten of her graduating class and he originally was going to try to make shoto do a quirk marriage again until they both threatened him and beat his ass.
her main quirk is an ice quirk called misty ice, kind of like shoto. although unlike him there needed to be moisture in the air or she needed to have enough water in her to use it at all. she could make weapons out of ice or send snow-related attacks. the drawback with this quirk is that she could easily lose mobility from frost.
her second quirk also had to do with moisture and water. she could grow any plant or flower from her fingertips as long as she had enough water from her body to make them. this quirk is called mother nature. the main one she used from this quirk were her vines mainly used to apprehend the villains. this quirks drawback is that when overused, her fingers split and bleed and in the worst case scenario she could faint from dehydration.
after yui pulled on her boots and gloves she exited the bathroom. she grabbed her phone and went to look for shoto, as she was sure he had been there already.
she didn't have to wait far, seeing as he was right by the elevator doors in the lobby of the agency, seemingly waiting for her so they could both clock in and go meet with endeavor.
"shoto!" she said, waving her hand and smiling at him as she got closer.
he looked up from his phone and gave her a small smile and half hearted wave back, typical todoroki nature. she strolled up next to him and pressed the elevator button to go up to the fiftieth floor and see endeavor.
the elevator game and they both stepped in, shoto pressing the button the time. "excited to see who's patrolling with us today?" yui questioned shoto.
"yes", he said nodding, "but i believe i know who it is already. someone i went to u.a with."
"that's great! you introduce me okay?" yui finished just as the elevator doors opened to a short hallway to endeavors office, which was on the highest floor and took up the whole floor.
they walked up to the tall, wide oak door and knocked a couple times. an 'enter' came from inside and they walked into the space.
endeavor was at the intimidating and big chair behind his desk waiting for them. they sat at the seats in front of his desk and greeted him in unison.
"good morning."
"yes hello miss misty, shoto. today for your patrols you'll be with one intern from purple revolution and one from best jeanist. you are all senior trainees and this will help you build ties with more heroes in the surrounding area. do you understand?" endeavor said, giving them today's task and rundown.
"yes, sir." they chorused back diligently.
'good. as far as i know you will be splitting into pairs decided amongst yourselves and are going to be patrolling in the downtown area of tokyo."
endeavor sighed and folded his hands together on the desk.
"in two months, you two and the trainees you will be working with today will no longer be heroes training under pros, you will be pro heroes. therefore when patrolling today, think hard on what kind of pro you want to be in the future."
he finished and looked at them with a piercing stare, to the point where yui got fidgety in her chair and shoto just looked out the full wall window.
"dismissed."
they nodded and walked back the way they came and were back the way they came.
"jeez shoto your dad is really intense sometimes." yui snickered as they hit the twentieth floor.
"i suppose he is yui. i am quite used to it by now though." he stated with a shrug. "is shinso the one patrolling from purple revolution?" he inquired, tilting his head at her as they reached the lobby and walked towards the doors.
"yup. he told me on the way here."
they exited and were met with the spring breeze of late march. "yui, over here!'
they turned and walked some to their left, and shinso was right there, with someone close behind him.
"this is who's patrolling with us today. it's you, me, shoto, and katsuki bakugo. the one i introduced you to earlier."
the blond man from earlier game into view with his hero costume on, and yui knew this was going to be an interesting afternoon.
