"Me next" said another guy but Ryan just stood there looking confused then remorseful. "I could go for help, it would be quicker if I snuck out and got help" he said. "You coward" said Sara "how could you just leave us here to die?" she continued. "If I stay we will all most likely die but if I go right now I have a better chance at getting help" said Ryan.

I was beginning to see the messed up logic in what he was saying but I doubted his intentions were for the groups greater good but I pretended to go along with it.

He was a coward but what if while he was running for his own life, he ran into help for the rest of us. He was able to open the tiny basement window but before he crawled out he turned back to look at the rest of us but his fear took over again. Up he went and he was gone into the night.

We spent the rest of the night cutting through our ropes, those of us who got loose helped the others, no one ran for it but instead we acted as a team not wanting to leave each other. Hours went by and no help came. He must be dead.

Day light was peeking through the tiny window by the time we were all loose, we knew we didn't have much time so we decided on a quick plan. We would take turns going out the same way Ryan did but we knew that we didn't have the darkness to hide us and we were taking an enormous chance running out in broad daylight but what else could we do? We were scared shitless. "Okay we take turns climbing out quietly but quickly, when we're out we wait for a few others, at least if some of us get away we succeeded" said Sara.

In the last few hours Sara really changed, she's a natural leader so she and I decided we would be the ones to help the others get up and out and hopefully we make it out before the others are seen. Just then we heard yelling from upstairs, loud scuffling and gun shots exploded through the air. "Hurry everyone, get out go go go" I began telling them. "But what if it's help?" said one of the other girls. We exchanged worried looks, "Yeah and what if help gets killed and they come down here for all of us? Get rid of the evidence, you know. We need to move now." I said.

More yelling, women screaming. I hope that black haired devil is the one screaming and Aura also, I hope they are suffering. The door opened and quick footsteps came running down, "hurry, go" I said as I pushed Sara out the window. "Come on" she said as she turned around to reach for my hand "I'm not leaving you" she said. "Run" I yelled. "Wait" it was a man's voice, the guy who came down is talking to me. "I'm here to help you, are you alone down here?" he asked. He's tall and carrying a gun and flashlight. "Yes" I said "everyone got out". "Are you hurt?" he asked, "no" I said "I'm physically okay. "Come on, we gotta go there will be more coming back any time now" he said as he led me upstairs. Another scuffle and then a thud, I stop. "It's okay, we're here to help". He opened the door, went out first checking both directions before it was safe for me to go up. "It's okay it's safe to come up" he said.

"I found one hiding in the bathroom but it's not the alpha of the nest. Damn it he's a sly one, I got the girl tied up in the trunk, maybe she'll talk with a little persuasion" said a voice from the next room. "I found a survivor, there were others but they managed to escape thanks to this brave girl, she helped them out the window" said the tall guy. "We're going to have to make sure those people got away, there may be stragglers hiding out waiting for us to leave so they can catch their dinner" said the voice. "For sure" said my rescuer as he led me into the next room, "it's just my brother" he said. My heart stopped, there we stood face to face, looking into each others eyes like no time had passed.

hose eyes, that voice. It was Dean.

"Hi" was all I could come up with, I mean why did I think he would remember who I was. How may women has he saved in alley's all over the country and I bet every one of them has gotten all swooney over him, who wouldn't?. The tall guy watched us exchange awkward looks before finally speaking, "Ummm hi, I'm Sam and that's my brother Dean".

"I know, I mean we've met, not you and I but him..Dean and I about six months ago in Vista, I needed help and he was there" I am babbling I thought, embarrassed. "Sammy this is Emma, the girl I saved in the alley that night, remember when we tracked that vamp to the alley" Dean said. "Ohhhh right, when I had to dispose of it cause you were nowhere to be found, riggghhtt.

I remember now and the girl you mentioned until the next town, yes I remember" Sam said with a smirk. "Funny guy my brother is" Dean said with a flush in his face "ahem we should go before we get company".

Outside the sun was shining down on us, "I'm alive" I thought and I took an extra breath of fresh air. "Oh my god your alive" said Sara as she came running from his car and threw her arms around me. "Sara, this is Sam and his brother Dean" I said.

"Thank you so much" she said as she put her arms around the brother's "but how did you know we were all here? Did Ryan send you?" she asked them. "Umm Yeah that's the only explanation, he escaped last night and he said he was going to get help and he did" I said as I gave them a play along look. "Yup...uh Ryan, we met up with him not too far and he told us about this place so we came" said Dean then he mouthed the words "Ryan?" and shook his head.

As we drove down the bumpy, pot hole filled road I suddenly remembered that I drove there "oh no, Marcy's car" I exclaimed and everyone turned to look at me confused. "Someone stole my car, well it's my friends car actually but....oh no my purse was in there, they have my address and Marcy's address" I said. I am petrified, not so much for myself but for Marcy and for all I know she could be dead right now.

"I need a phone" I said "I need to call her and make sure she's okay and about her car". Dean handed me his phone and told me what to say, that I came where I was supposed to but the car was stolen during the night sometime and that's it. As I dialed her number panic began to set in, it rang and rang then voicemail. I decided against leaving a message. "What are we going to do with them?" Sam asked as he nudged his head in our direction. "Where do you live?" Dean asked Sara, she replied with her address but insisted she would not go back there. "That's where he picked me up, those people, they know where I live "Sara said with obvious fear in her voice.

We drove in silence for a little bit and I thought back to earlier in the day after the rescue and how Sam and Dean took the time to find the other people who escaped, not all but some and got them to safety. I didn't even want to imagine where the rest of them are so I pushed it out of my mind. "Okay we need to get some rest and to think, if you girls don't mind I'd like to stop and get a room for the night, I'm wiped out" said Dean. Sara and I exchanged looks and nodded, we were in agreement and to be honest I needed to get out of these disgusting clothes but into what? I had nothing with me.

At the motel we had two separate rooms and I was grateful to them for it, all I wanted to do was take a scorching hot shower and sit and think. The robes were decent enough, not five star hotel soft but close enough and at least I am out of those clothes but that's only a temporary solution after all what the hell am I going to put on afterwards. Oh well that's tomorrows problem, I've had enough contemplating for one day. Sara is quiet which I'm glad as I'm in no mood for pleasantries right now, real or fake. After her long excursion under some hot water she lightened up a bit and started to talk. "I got the impression that you and them know each other, I mean I don't mean to pry when its none of my business I was just wondering". "Uh yeah sort of, Dean and I met about six months ago, he helped me out once but that was ages ago I was shocked he even remembered me" I said while blushing.
