Natigilan ako.

Napasinghap ako ng sarili kong hininga. Parang ewan lang na bigla akong nanlamig.

'It sure is late right now, it's so cold.' I convinced myself, 'cause why not? Why would I get scared by just that?pfft.

I decided to turn to where  the voice is coming from.

I took a step backward when I saw a guy standing in the dark  while head facing the ground.

'okay? so what now?' I asked confused to myself ofcourse.

I'm under the tall street light, so he clearly could see me.

I waited for about a minute or so for him to talk again.

I looked around while patiently waiting and the cold breeze touching my body.

I decided to talk first since I can't waste more time.

"Uhm, what do you need?" I asked.

He smirked as he scoffed.

My eyebrows met.

What is so funny about my question?

I rolled my eyes and said.

"Ano nga kaseng kailanga-" I didn't manage to finish when he cut me off.

"I believe you have something that's mine?"

I blinked numerous times as I realized something.

'Omfg! Did I really just forgot? Damn that's embarassing af.' I said to myself as I covered my mouth in shock and pursed my eyes.

He chuckled again so I glared at him.

'So what if I forgot?duh.' I rolled my eyes again. 'Ano ba! Anong oras na kailangan ko ng tulog so nakalimutan ko. Wag kang epal, Hindi ako  apektado sa presensya niya.' tsk as if.

"Yeah right, sorry." I said sarcastically.

I was getting the phone when I can't seem to find it and feel it on my hands.

I started lightly panicking as my eyes opened wider.

'Where the f did it ef'n go!' I cussed on my own mind.

I was busy checking my pockets when he spoke.

"Oops, sorry I forgot I have it already." He scoffed again.

'Wait what?! Have what?' I am confused as I turned my gaze on him.

He's currently standing now a few inches from the range of the light so I could slightly see what he's wearing now.

He's wearing a black sweater, black cap, black jeans and a black rubber shoes. 'He is into black I see.' lol hahaha. I don't know but I find it funny.

Anyways, I noticed his one hand raised so I trailed my gaze until it reaches his hand and to my surprise he is really holding the phone.

"How the heck is that with you now?!" I asked as I held my chest in shock.

'Okay, this guy got some moves. Weird moves.' lmao. Ngl. That's impressive.

"It's for me to know and for you to find out." He confidently said as he walked near to my direction showing himself under the light.

'Damn, he's tall. Tall enough for me to hold like a stick and hit on a hard surface so he breaks like a chopstick getting broken.' I laughed on my own thought. Ba't ba! Kasalanan ko bang lampayatot to?hahaha

Aight, that's bullying. Sorry.

He heard my laugh so his face got a hint of curiosity as he stopped in front of me.

'Gwapo? Ewan, mas gwapo ako eh.' I shrugged on my own mind.

I don't really care about physical features. Even if your physical features are well combined if your attitude can't be eaten by a dog then fuck off. You're not worth to be called any sort of beautiful.

I just saw him today and his attitude? Its not that bad but he has this weird aura that gets me curious of what he's really hiding.

And I have this urge to find it out.

"Anong tinatawa-tawa mo d'yan?" Muntik ko nang makalimutang andito pa pala siya.

Sabi ko naman sayo eh. Hindi ako apektado sa presensya niya. Nakalimutan ko ngang meron siya diba? Heh!

"Nagtatagalog naman pala, may pa english-english pang nalalaman." Bulong ko sa hangin.

"Anong sinasabi mo?" Mas kumunot ang kilay niya.

Obviously, hindi niya narinig ang sinasabi ko.

"Ah, wala. Nakuha mo na cellphone mo kaya uuwi na ako. Bye." Sunod-sunod kong sabi.

Paalis na ako ng hawakan niya ang palapulsuhan ko kaya syempre natigilan ulit ako.

I looked back and looked at his hand holding my wrist as I looked up on him to see him looking at it too and slowly looked up at me. I then raised my eyebrow on him. Giving him that 'the audacity' look.

He quickly let go of my hand and went to the dark until I can't see him.

I'm left there standing.

'Wait. tangina, iniwan ba ako nun?' hah!

"Abat Ang kapal nga naman ng mukha." Mahinahon kong sabi sa kawalan.

Nabibwiset ako.

Bakit?

Kase anak ng tokwa siya. Inunahan pa akong umalis eh ako nga dapat yung una.

Ano? Pinigilan niya lang ako para siya yung mauna umalis?

'Parang gago lang? Haha.' Sarkastikong tawa ko

Aalis na talaga ako.

I nearly reached the apartment when I suddenly felt eyes staring at me.

Not just a pair of eyes, but a bunch of them.

This... Reminds me of something. The past I was trying to forget but at the same time is tryinb to remember, to figure out.

It's been haunting me.

It feels like there's a series of events on my life that I skipped and my brain can't remember.

And that's bothering my sanity.

It's haunting me that I just want to get rid and forget about it.

What's the sense of finding out when I can't even remember. So fuck off, I'mma get rid of it instead.

Ramdam ko pa rin ang mga matang nakatingin sa akin hanggang sa makapasok ako sa tinutuluyan ko.

Nakaligo na ako at mag to-toothbrush na. Para makatulog na sa wakas kahit ilang oras man lang.

May klase pa ako bukas.

Napatingin ako sa orasan and it's about to be 3am soon.

I put a toothpaste on my toothbrush as usual and was brushing my teeth.

When I noticed something on my wrist.

I stopped brushing and checked it.

"Welcome back, Ariadne"
