"So, who's the girl?" Steve questioned.
"We don't know yet, we just scanned her face and bruce is working on finding out."
"Do we need to call a meeting?"
"Sure, call everyone in." Tony reassured. Steve collects all the avengers and brings them into the meeting room.
"What's going on, Tony?" Nat spoke up.
"Well, this afternoon we discovered something exceedingly weird on the cameras in Banner's lab."
"So, what does this have to do with us?" Thor responded.
"There was this girl with a shaved head, like a buzzcut, she wore a hospital gown and had like wires attached to her head."
"Okay, and?"
"She crushed a Coke can with her mind." Tony revealed.
"Like, without touching it?" Wanda asked after shifting in her seat.
"Without touching it, plus - it said it was from 1983." He confirmed.
"So, it must have just been an old clip?"
"No, it said live in the corner of the screen." Steve declared.
"What?" Thor asked, his voice loud and eyebrows furrowed.
Bruce charged in immediately - slightly out of breath, "Tony!" "Tony!"
"What's going on?"
"Come look at this, it's urgent!"
"Okay, give me a second."
Tony quickly followed bruce into his lab as he pointed to his screen,
"What am I looking at?"
"Look, as i was looking there is a time machine near Parker's school and..."
"Come on Bruce, what is it?!"
"I've found the destination of the girl, I haven't found any other information but I have found out that this is her mother." Bruce handed Tony a piece of paper that he had printed off which read,
INDIANA WOMAN SUES D.O.E. CLAIMS CHILDREN WERE STOLEN
Tony continued to read the article on the woman named Terry Ives before turning to face Bruce. "Where is she?"
"She lives in Hawkins, Indiana and is experimented on in Hawkins lab."
"Experimented on?"
"The Hawkins laboratory is evil according to the girls' mother and when i scanned her face there was just one article and it told me people reported she had..."
"Had what?" Tony inquired.
"Let's just say she has abilities."
"So that's why she crushed the soda can with her mind."
"Yes."
"So, where is this time machine?"
"Once you exit Peter's school you take two lefts and a right and there is an abandoned warehouse." Bruce explained.
"We need to go there." Tony insisted.
"What?"
"I'm telling you, we need to find out more about this."
"When?"
"Now, i guess."
"Are you sure, Tony?"
"Absolutely."
Tony walks back into the meeting room to be met with the rest of the Avengers, "We have a mission." He explains the plan to everyone in the room, leaving some of them confused and tells everyone to suit up.
They all arrive at Peter's school and follow Bruce's directions. They soon reach the old and rusty warehouse.
"What is this place?"
"It used to be called something like, 'brimborn steelworks'."
"Oh."
They all walk inside, watching their step as glass is splattered all over the floor. A weird looking machine sits in the room before them,
"Is this it?" Peter asked.
"I'm pretty sure."
Steve pushes a button on the side which causes a beacon of light to shine out. An illuminous portal opens above them, Tony turns the machine to the side to make a portal on the wall for them to walk through.
"Everyone ready?" He checked, looking around at everyone.
