So, you're now at step number 3: Making your book cover.

And yes, as a human, you DO judge a book by its cover. That moment when you just got caught! Ah, but don't worry. We all do judge books by their cover. Myself included.

So you stare at the cover, in depth looking at the certain amount of effort put into it.

Okayy, so obviously there's some hijabi YouTuber or Omar Borkan taking up 80% of the book cover. You're instantly intrigued.
Now you read the font.

Too cliche. And oh my ALLAH, your spelling is just very very very perfect. Perfected. You're a bad speller, and I'm a sarcastic person. What do you expect ? Ofcourse I'm going to throw SAMOOSAS and sour Laban at you.

➊ Breathe when making a cover. I know this sounds ridiculous, but if you're going to be on your nerves and stress about the cover, it's not going to work out. That's the nicest way of putting it out there.

➋ Download PIC MONKEY, or IPIC or was it IPIX? I forgot. Wallah. I'm listening to Sheikh Shuraim. Lost concentration there. Just use whichever editor suits you and your style.

➌ If you really cannot create a cover, to save yourself, ask someone. A friend, or sibling. Preferably someone who makes covers on wattpad. Yes, they exist. Ask them nicely. Don't be all demanding.

➍ Don't be impatient while making the cover. If the editing app takes five minutes to load, wait. You'll get rewarded for your Sabr and you will actually end up making a good cover. I swear. This is my logic. Patience and pride. Nothing less.

➍ Did you notice that this is the second number 4 ? No? Well you better NOTICE the option that says TEXT or FONT in the app you're using. If it doesn't, Google some more editing apps. There will always be. By now, you'll be exposed to various fonts. Choose whichever one makes you happy. The one that brings out the picture. Please note you'll have to type the font on the picture. Wow, you knew that already? Yay. One Samoosa for you.

➏ Be creative. Achieve that good looking cover. Make it stand out. Be bold, be beautiful.

➐ Pay attention to the size of the image! This is important ! You don't want half a picture, half a head of the character on the cover, or a word missing. So look at the required size.

➑ For the cover picture, you may use google images when you search for your specific image. Use weheart it , use pintrest, use tumbLr. Use errthing. There are so many amazing pictures on the web. Don't go for the first. Explore! Have a certain idea of what you're looking for, also. OMAR BORKAN AND THOSE HIJABI YOUTUBERS ARE OVER USED. DID YOU KNOW SCOTTISH HIJABIS EXIST? I think most of us go for ISLAMIC COUPLES or something down that line.. but really, ARAB COUPLES doe. UNITED ARAB EMIRATES HIJABIS. Idk. OMANI BEARDS? DID YOU EVEN LIVE ALREADY?

And if you are going to save pictures from the web, make sure its LEGAL. OR haha, be rebellious ;) Just Jokes. And if you're really CREATIVE and all, and into photography.. Whats stopping you? Give that CANON a reason its there!
