James pushed aside his feelings of denial and realized how angry he was. He stood up and slammed his fists on his dresser. He breathed heavy as he swung his hand to the side, flinging his lamp off of his dresser and onto the floor. The glass of the lamp shattered, and the lampshade flew across his room. He rubbed his eyes, trying to wipe the tears away. He sat back down on his bed violently. He ripped the blanket from his bed, balled it up, and screamed into it before slamming it back on the bed, his anger calmed.
