I Am Sorry:

"Don't you think you're overreacting?" Seulgi questioned.
Hoseok laughed hysterically as if the funniest thing had happened just now but we sat there in silence and confusion.
"I am just joking. He seems like a nice guy, even if he doesn't show much strength in dance we can help him improve. I can never look down on any dancer." He smiles.
We nervously laugh.
"You scared us there for a sec Hoseok." Taeyong said.
"I hate negativity, you all know that!"
"Earlier it didn't seem like it." Lisa shook her head.
"Lets get going, class is about to start."
We all leave and go to our next class which is dance. I love this class with my life as it is a way I can show my talent which is dancing. Hoseok and I are known for being the dancing king and queen ever since our Freshman year and now we are Juniors.
"Alright everyone, I would like to introduce a new student to you all, this is Kim Seokjin I am sure you have heard of him and he will be in our class. I originally planned to allow you to choose partners for duets but Kim Seokjin will need of some guidance so instead I will be assigning duets."
I am hoping I get to work with Hoseok as we always work well together but nonetheless I'm sure we will be fine.
"Jung Hoseok and Kang Seulgi, Lisa Monoban and Lee Taeyong, Park Jimin, Momo, and Kim Taehyung, Kang Y/N and Kim Seokjin..."
how exciting! I get to dance with someone new and it just so happens to be Seokjin!
"Good luck sunshine, let the best dancers win next week."
"Oh, you will see who's the actual boss." I playfully smirk.
He gives me a quick peck before leaving with Seulgi to a spot in the dance room.
"Y/N right?" I hear someone say behind me.
I turn around to see Seokjin in front of me, making me feel petite compared to his figure. He was much more handsome in person.
"Uh- yeah. Nice to meet you!"
"The pleasure is mine, you are fairly stunning." He smiled.
"Thank you? Anyways, how much do you know about dancing? We don't have much time before presentation and if you aren't familiar with dance, we have a lot to do." I explain.
"I know a bit, but I do have a lot to work on."
"I see, then I will do a simple dance routine for us. Any songs in mind?"
"Not really. You can pick any song for us, I really wouldn't mind. I know you're one of the best here."
I blush at his statement. I need to keep my cool, I have a boyfriend and what I'm thinking about is wrong. totally wrong.

THREE MONTHS LATER
"Y/N, Seokjin, I'd like to speak with you." The dance instructor says.
We get up, walking outside the room with her. She crosses her arms, with a serious expression.
"I have decided to put you two into nationals. The chemistry between you guys is beyond this universe and I am sure you'll take the win for us."
"We will do our best, Ms."
"I know you two will. Get back inside now, oh and Y/N?"
"Yeah?"
"From now on I prefer you to be paired with Seokjin instead of Hoseok. Seokjin seems to do way better when he dances with you and Hoseok does a phenomenal job with Seulgi. It's a suggestion." She smiles.
"Oh, thanks. I'll take your advice." I smile back.
"Fantastic! Go back inside and make sure to practice well!"
We bow to the teacher and walk back into the dance room where I was met by a worried Hoseok.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
"It's-"
The teacher walked in, getting everyone's attention. I cracked my knuckles in tension, afraid of hoseok's reaction to the news.
"I have made my decision on who will be heading to nationals this year and I have chosen Kang Y/N and Kim Seokjin."
everyone gasped and began gossiping about the sudden change as it's usually hoseok and I that go to nationals but this year was different. Far different from what Hoseok liked.
"So it's you and him huh?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't-"
"Why are you apologizing sunshine? That's how it ended up being and I trust Seokjin. You better win or else I am suing." Hoseok laughs.
We chuckle to his comment but later on we weren't going to have anything to laugh about.
